dak is good enough. that's like saying I got the fattest big girl because she couldn't run away from me. good enough. Big girls can't run fast.

Though its totally fine for the Dak homers to shout their praise anytime they want, right?

If #4 would show up in big games maybe there would be fewer people giving him so much grief.

It’s not “bad” to sing his praises or rag on him. This a forum where each poster can share their opinions as long as they’re following the rules.

However, it is incredibly lame to bring up how one does not like him in a thread that has literally nothing to do with him, with no previous mention of him. Like I said, it almost seems like an obsession for some people.

Did anyone read that long letter given to the team by Murray's agent? It's a must read. It doesn't sound like something any Agent would do. More like what a father would write.
It was weird.

Curious on the trade market. Atlanta? Lost out on Watson.

Guess Carolina too along with Seattle
Falcons going to roll with Mariota for at least one season while scouting for a QB to draft in 2023.
Passing (pun intended) on Murray.
Trade within division to Seahawks possible? Seattle could much of the draft capital they recently acquired from Broncos in Wilson trade. But do the Seahawks want to acquire Murray --and what he wants in an extension?
Same with Panthers - want is the cost to get the Cardinals QB?

Tell ya what.....they better take him serious about sitting out. IF I'm the Cards, I'm making a decision within the next couple of weeks BEFORE the draft. There are a couple of desperate teams out that would probably give up something similar to what the Texans got for Watson.
No doubt. The QB market is so out of control right now and merely good QBs are being paid elite money. If you have a op 10-15 QB, you keep him. That's all there is to it. Yes, Dak is on that list.

So wild that teams are being held hostage by QB's that are just quite good enough to WIN IT while not being able to carry a team, but carrying a team is also a myth.
It is the way of the world now in the NFL.
Get a good one and you keep him. Might not be Great, but good is enough now.
Yup, the QB market is unforgiving. Just because you pay for one doesn't guarantee you anything, but your odds of winning go up significantly with a good one.

It’s not a mess if they get the deal done…why wouldn’t you want to sign him?
Because they don’t need to. He needs to play his contract. If the NFL let’s the players have the power and force contracts before they have at least played out their 4 years, there goes the benefit of having a QB on a rookie contract. Murray has shown flashes, but he’s accomplished nothing.

Oakland A's hold his rights.

The Oakland A’s aren’t going to pay him anything to play baseball, assuming he even can at the major league level. My guess is no.

The Eagles may have interest here. They have draft capital.

Been saying it's not really about what they've accomplished but if their team sees them as a long-term starter. If they do, it's going to cost a min $40M per.

Exactly.......coz if he's serious, this can only end two ways, pay him or trade him. IF they try and force him to play, at some point the whole issue becomes cancer to the team/locker room.
I force him to play or he accepts a contract that’s more money but low because it’s not his turn. You extend a guy when he is on his final year or you risk free agency, but there’s no reason to give him his big money after a couple years. If he sits, he gets no pay, and he gets no closer to free agency. The sooner you give him the huge guaranteed money, the sooner he owns your butt.

Through months before mandatory mini -camp; three months to training camps start.
Murray doesn't report in June - fines start.
If the QB is a no-show....trade future draft capital for Mayfield....and let Murray go off to play baseball?

Trade his butt, 2 years left of a cheap contract. Cards should not negotiate until next offseason at the earliest.

Arizona would be smart to trade him, there is already bad blood between them.

It's amazing how quickly "bad blood" disappears with 5 years for $225 million.

It's just business. It's not personal.

He should come to AT&T and play for Jerry. He's undefeated there, unlike #4.

Gripe about Dak all you want but he never threatened to hold out and showed up every day. Played on whatever contract he was signed under.
