Trade down for Zeke..
Trade down for Lynch..
Trade down for Rankins..

Only the Cowboys could wind up with the 4th pick in a year where no one actually seems to be worth it.

All signs are that they will get Ramsey who many teams have at the top of their draft.

Never trust LaConfora on anything.

The dude has on Orioles underwear and a Ravens jersey on 24/7.

He hates Dallas. He used to be the Commanders beat writer and would always talk about Romo choking. The funny thing is he dislikes Dan Snider more then Jerry.

The only thing you can count on with the Cowboys and the draft it that more likely than not, you will only recognize the first round pick and perhaps the second round pick. Dallas a knack for drafting players after that, that no one had heard of, no one had in their mock draft.

How many here had Chaz Green, Russel or Wilson in their mocks last year? How about Hitchins or Wilcox in previous drafts?

So we are changing Tyronne Crawford's position? We have our starting 3-tech and have committed alot of money to him. No way we take Rankins.

There has been some talk about being able to move Crawford outside.

If they had the chance to draft an elite disruptive 3-T, I would be in support of that.

I don't think Crawford is an elite 3-T, so we would be getting better.

Not sure that Rankins at four is the best way to accomplish that.

But there is more than one way to generate QB pressure, and up the middle is as good, if not better, than someone screaming off the edge.

Wilcox yes, mainly due to his Senior Bowl. Russell got some play in deep mocks. Wilson or Hitchens, not really.

I like Rankins...if we traded back.
Heck I think you could get someone to trade up for Zeke (Dolphins) or Ramsey or Tunsil if 2 of the three was there.
Teams will be making offers for our pick, very deep DL draft, nice RB options in the 4th.

So many ways for us to screw it up.

The pick will be traded and the Boys may not even draft a QB - like last year when everyone felt we needed to take a RB.

I'm fine with Rankins at 34, but he'll likely be gone. But like you say taking him at 4 and also having to have your best DL change positions is not a good idea.

Which is the crux of the problem. Lately the Cowboys have hit on their early picks and flubbed up the later ones. I saw an ESPN piece that shows only the Chiefs and Lions have fewer fourth and fifth round picks playing for them than Dallas. The Seahawks, Packers, and Patriots have the most.

When they drafted Chaz Green last year I was saying "who"....?? Should have been asking, "Why:...
