See this is what I'm talking about. Tooootally swept under the rug because they won. This is the same thing that happened in OKC when Gasol tipped it in after kobe bricked a GW shot.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The guy was 1 short of a triple double and all you can do is call him out for missing a shot 95% of the league would miss more often than not.

I'm not even a big basketball fan, but calling out Kobe just seems crazy. The guy is one of the few elite players in the game and has the hardware to show it.

By the way, he seems to be pretty clutch tonight so far.

Kobe's never had a playoff triple double. Pretty pathetic.

He's still trash..he's just hot tonight. Even Dragic gets hot.

Boston in 5.

Can Gasol stop yelling like a ****ing mountain man!!!!!!!!!

Someone needs to punch him in the ******!!!

Kobe knocking shots with people all over his nutts. Maybe the Suns should have left him wide open and hope for a miss.

Wow ...... the WHINE in this thread is made out of the sourest of grapes.

Grats to the Lakers .... from a hated Spurs fan ..... they look to be champions again.

How can you call a guy MVP that loses in the playoffs every year ?

There is only one MVP and he plays for the L.A. Lakers.

Couldn't agree more. Kobe is far and away the best player in the game. The only way to stop him is to basically hope he misses. His fade-away might me the best ever. You really can't stop it. How many times is there two guys in his face and he drills that shot? The commentators just go "Wow. That play couldn't have been defended any better and he still scored."

Watch Kobe take over a game in the 4th. Lebron? ... not so much.

I'm ready to jump off the "I hate but respect Kobe" bandwagon and jump on the "watching Kobe is watching greatness" bandwagon.

QFT.

Lucky? Seriously? Try listening to what the opposing players and coach had to say.

Bryant will be in his seventh NBA finals in search of his fifth championship -- five more than regular season MVP LeBron James, who can only sit and watch.

ESPN Article.
