Lack of PT for starters

No need to play starters in pre season. They can use the 1st 2 games of the regular season to get sharp. 17 games is enough if not too much. 20 games is insane.

Would love for the Union to grow a spine go to a 15 game schedule . 17 is ludicrous .

The NFL has their math right as far as dollars and player supply. Once a player breaks down they have another to bring out of the garage.

It’s not “ good math “ when in an NFCC Brock Purdy pitching arm gets hurt and SF is forced to hand the ball off and watch the Eagles laugh into the SB because your roster is thin at QB .

It’s garbage football . 14 games, 15 max with 2 pre season spectacles . But Jerry and the owners with Roger Goodfella will squeeze the game for every nickel under the couch cushion .

NFL games all matter when it comes to the playoffs, one loss can come back and bite you.

I think it is a mistake not to play players and one way to get a competitive advantage in todays NFL, at the early part of the season when games count just the same as later in the year.

I dont have a problem with it, with the season expanding to 17 games the first two regular season games are "get the timing down" games anyway. It is what it is. Not a fan of more games because the quality of play diminishes as injuries occur and players wear down.
