Lads, help me make sense of 2 plays, both the last plays against the 49ers 2021-22 seasons

Those 2 plays are the most memorable and sealed our fate for another year.

He was as bad as Dak no question about it. Worse than the horrid Zeke. Worse than the Oline.

Two easy plays he completely blew late in the game in crunch time. Shultz was another culprit that blew it late on two choke plays.

I would like to know who was responsible, in each playoff game, for:

time running out, Zeke snaps the ball and Dak heaves the ball to the Turpin chap to end the game and our chances in the 2022 season.

time running out, Dak takes the ball, hesitates for a millisecond and then runs to the red zone. Dak didn't know ref needs to touch the ball (2021 season).

I have run into many barriers in seeking out who might have been responsible for those horrible plays that made Dak look incompetent. Perhaps undeserved.
My guess has Kellen Moore's name all over it. Did these 2 plays that suck doom Moore?

If I am wrong, then who called the play? Dak? Fat Mac?

Dak running out the clock was on Dak running out the clock and not being smart enough to realize that the ref needed to spot the ball. Not really sure how you blame the OC for Daks incompetence.

OC should make sure that everyone knows what to do in that scenario. He clearly did not.

Ultimately, you could say it was on the head coach because it is his job to make sure his team is prepared. Players do what they are coached to do.

It is what it is, now for those living in Dak's dreamland they better get some more excuses ready for this coming season.

In the first, you have 2 shots at the end zone, in the second you have a Hail Mary hoping for a penalty. They got cute in both situations. If they would've went the route they should have, sure they likely still lose but at least they walk off not looking absolutely pathetic and unprepared.

The year before we went 3 and out and then ended up with one of the goofiest plays to date in the NFL.
Last season's playoff loss is the all-the-money drive that ended in the following manner here below.
1st down......almost a pick 6
2nd down....inaccurate pass to an open Gallup.
3rd down.... with mucho time a sack.


The last play with Zeke playing center was going nowhere.....

Lot of focus on those plays but my guess is if things were like the rest of the game it wouldn’t have mattered much if they were executed properly

I to this day believe had Dak got the ball to the refs in time and we had 1 more play it would have been a sack or incomplete pass maybe a pick. The line stunk so bad that game

The other play well as much as I don’t like zeke it was disrespectful as ***. Dak played like poo that game

Definitely falls on the O-Coordinator. You practice for such moments. Kellen Moore had to have given the green light on those plays.

it wasn't the first time Moore had made bone headed play calls and didn't have the players ready.....this one is just under the microscope.

The Dak QB sneak wasn’t a bad call by any means.

:13 seconds, you need a touchdown and you’re on your own 40. You can either toss up one / two Hail Mary passes or pick up a few yards and have a better chance from 25-30 yards.

49ers rushed 3 and dropped 8 into coverage. They had 3 guys covering out of bounds on both sides and two safeties dropped deep. If you complete a pass you aren’t getting out of bounds to stop the clock. Middle of the field is wide open so you pick up a few and spike it. He was tackled with 9 seconds and it took an additional four seconds to stand up.

If Dak goes down at the 30, we have :10 seconds on the clock and plenty of time to spike it. The few extra yards, the defender on top of up and the ref not getting to him is what hurt us in the end.

still wouldn't gaurantee a score, but I get the point, at least would have been given a chance. everyone picks at that play, as if, it went right we win. it was still big fat chance of a win, as you said, with 8 defenders dropping back. now, all jammed into a smaller area and into the end zone.

that was one of Diggs worst games. he also dropped a sure interception to end what turned out to be a scoring drive
