The only "report" of any type about Tapper is from Broaddus saying he doesn't think Tapper will be back anytime soon. He always adds that it's just a feeling he has though, and follows it up by saying he hasn't heard anything.

I wouldn't throw him in at right tackle once he's healthy this season, because he'll need time to learn the position... but during the offseason they really need to try and transition him to that position and get him back in as a starter. We gotta have our best 5 guys out there. Resign Leary and roll out Smith/Leary/Frederick/Martin/Collins next year.

I don't think there's a way we can afford Leary if we want to pay Martin (who will most likely be the highest paid guard in the league) and eventually re-sign Collins next year. You have to leave some money for the defensive line at some point

Good point. Yeah I guess we should ride out Free at RT as long as we can and keep Collins at LG. Then maybe Chaz Green can be the eventual Free replacement.
