If we somehow got La'el Collins, would any of consider trying to trade Chaz Green for a rookie RB we liked?
A future later round pick might have be gained or lost depending on the player.
Langford for Green,for example.

Some of you guys are RB obsessed.

Not me. I'm one of the ones not too worried about RBs.
Just a question of what some here would do.

My guess is that Green would be a bit bummed and that under no scenario would we have used a 3rd on him if we had drafted Collins before him.

If we finally get to the point where we think we need another running back, I think it would be more likely to cost us a starter like Leary.

I can see the concern. After all Dallas is going from the league rushing leader to McFadden who in 7 years has yet to do much, Randle iffy at best and with his 10 cent brain hard to think he can be counted on, Williams who has done nothing and Dunbar who is decent as a change of pace but not someone you would think can carry much of a load. Hopefully McFadden can get his career going right now that is what I'm counting on.

IF Collins were to come here I'm fairly confident he would be the LG with Green still in place to take over for Free whenever that may happen. Collins is much better suited at G in the NFL than T

No way. If we sign him, we could asseble the best OL in the NFL for years to come, and for a bargain.

I don't think it's entirely accurate to say that McFadden hasn't done anything in the NFL. He's had one thousand yard season and two season's where he averaged better then 5 YPC. I think it's fair to say that he needs to up his game with the Cowboys. I think that's fair.

If anyone of the three, Green, Gibson or Collins if signed can replace Leary, I'm OK with it, he's the weak link of this offensive line

I say we keep him and start him at left guard. Then (if we get Collins and start him at right tackle)... we'll have the best offensive line (well, we already had the best), all of them under 24.

I doubt very seriously Chaz Green would garner a RB better than what we already have on the roster. The only 3 RB's I would consider potential upgrades are Gurley, Gordon or Coleman...and I doubt very seriously any of them would be traded straight up for Chaz.

I liked the Chaz Green selection and the ideal of him replacing Parnell. With injuries, You can never have too many lineman in the trenches.

Sign him up and let his rookie contract play out and hope like h*ll he becomes an valuable asset to our OLine to the point we sign him to another contract
