i can understand you being upset with the suspensions, but it is a rule, and it doesnt say in the rule book that it should be different in the playoffs.

again i understand the frustration, but i think to say the league fixed it purposely so that the spurs would win is just not right. and im glad they suspended them, not just because im a spurs fan, but because they didnt bend the rules because of the situation.
No offense is meant when I say this. I did not want a replay of the series, so I skipped right over all the stuff about how the Suns still could have won.

That situation completely annoyed me. Understand something, I had been a Lakers fan since they acquired Magic Johnson in the Draft in 1979. That means that two of my biggest rivals were the Spurs and the Suns.

I had no dog in that fight. In fact, truth be told I was rooting for the Spurs. I met several of them when my nephew got married and I stayed at the same Marriott as them in Salt Lake City, Utah and they were playing the Jazz. I got to work out with Chuck Person. Met Vinny Del Negro, Avery Johnson, Will Perdue, and a couple of others. I actually liked the Spurs after that. Classy guys.

I just cannot stomach such an obvious fix. They fixed that series. It is just that simple to me. It galls me. It so tuned me off that I have not seen a game since that series and I doubt I ever will again. I used to love wearing my Lakers stuff. I threw it all away.

I love college basketball, but the NBA ruined it for me by fixing a series.

He was pissing me off acting like he was a warrior or something. He was bringing his team down and Kleiza was helping his team more. Oh well..JR finally had his typical game which is good.

The Nuggets still have an uphill battle needing to win one in LA but they have been outplaying the Lakers most of the series in my opinion, so Im still holding out hope that they can get it done.

They've lost the last 2 games at Staples because they can't inbound a pass. They've been right in the game..I can EASILY seeing the Nuggets pulling out a win Wednsday. JR looks like he's heating up and Melo went 1-13 and they still won by 20 points tonight..you know he won't shoot that bad again.

The way the Lakers start games reminds me of the Cowboys sometimes, they seem to have no intensity or desire to jump on a team early.

The lottery sucks, they need to go back to the old school ways, make a team tank a season to get the first pick.:eek:hboy:

If Kobe doesn't go off at home, then they can hang it up. Still holding out hope that there will be Lebron vs Kobe final. Yes I'm buying into the hype. :)

It would be kind of funny if neither Lebron or Kobe even make it to the finals.

Wrong. Denver was down 2 with 37 seconds left the last time Ariza robbed an inbounds pass. Why would anyone assume Denver was going to win that game?

Then you understand my point. I don't agree on the Ewing Lottery but I have no idea if they have fixed a series since then. I quit watching. I literally have not seen a game, nor do I really care to see another one.

Officiating has been horrible this postseason in almost every series. Now that we are in the Conference finals it has only got worse. I totally see where you are coming from Hostile, College Basketball, College Football, and NFL easily are all better then the NBA due to officiating.

david robinson is the best man to ever play basketball. He means so much to the SA community and he is still a huge influence on people in san antonio.

that being said, he didnt have the mean streak to win a chip as the top dog. david robinson was a much better version of what dirk is today. he needed a batman (TD) just like dirk needs one.

notice two things....

a)the guy that puts the envelopes in "accidentally" dents one in the corner trying to put it in the ball.

b)stern looks down to find that envelope while trying to open the ball.

if it was fixed, which i think it was, its pretty funny that ewing and the knicks never won a championship! HA karma

I appreciate the video. As I no longer care about the NBA I am going to refrain from watching a 9 minute video. I will take you at your word.

I care less about this than I do fixing that series. I am genuinely bothered by that and it is why I no longer care about the NBA.

I gave up baseball after they canceled the World Series. I got hooked again with the chase of Maris' record. Now I know that was all fake.

Who knows what the future of the NBA holds for me. Right now, not much at all.
