Bull.they wouldn't bring in the entire contingent to Columbus if they were not interested.this is laughable draft to time misinformation.

One thing is for sure in my opinion, the Cowboys have done a pretty good job ensuring nobody really knows what they will do at #4.

They have been linked to just about every conceivable pick at #4 and disassociated with a few like this report seems to indicate.

At this point, I honestly have no idea what to expect.

They could trade up, they could trade down
They could select a QB
They could select Elliott, Bosa, Ramsey, Buckner, Jack, etc.

So if Ramsey isn't there and they're not in love with Bosa who do they draft? Elliott or Goff/Wentz?

Hard to know exactly. I have thought it's Bosa, Ramsey, Wentz or Goff at 4 for a while now. Highly doubt it's Zeke. Maybe Buckner?

All of the Cowboys but Jerry Jones, who has said Dallas won't take a QB or RB with the No. 4 pick.

I don't think taking a group of coaches/front office types to OSU will put much of a dent in Jerry's piggy bank.

When you consider the number of draftable prospects coming from OSU, it makes a little more sense.

You could also be 100% correct. *shrug*

Just about every draft eligible player from OSU could be a target. This Cowboys/OSU pro day doesn't show either like nor dislike towards any particular OSU player.

That is true, but as demonstrated by the 2014 draft, Jerry is not the sole decision maker in the war room. If he were, Johnny Manziel would be a Cowboy.....or maybe an ex-Cowboy but I digress.

I think Buckner could be the other possibility, maybe even ahead of the QBs based on Jerry's comments.

I would put them in this order as far as what I believe Dallas' interest in them is:

1) Joey Bosa

2) Jalen Ramsey

3) Carson Wentz

4) DeForest Buckner

5) Jared Goff

But it's possible they have someone else ranked ahead of the last three.

He also said they don't need to take a pass rusher high or a CB high after FA. He then turned around and said they could look at premium positions at 4 like CB, pass rusher and QB. Don't think we should take one thing he said serious while ignoring the rest of what he said. Sounds like a big smokescreen for somebody. Just not sure who.

I agree with that, but Jerry has proven in the past that he's not very good at holding his cards close to his vest. Usually, if he solidly states something, what he says is where he stands. If he doesn't give a firm answer, usually that means the opposite of what he's saying is going to happen.

That may be pretty darn close based on everything I have read/heard to be honest, although I would probably swap Ramsey and Bosa.

I still prefer Wentz or Goff but am beginning to accept that neither will likely be the pick.

Have not heard him say he isn't going to take a pass rusher or defensive back at No. 4. He's without a doubt said he's not going to take a QB or RB there.

Jerry really isn't very hard to read. He isn't very good at blowing smoke.
