Laquon Treadwell ran 4.65 at Pro Day

Your solution for a guy who runs a 4.65 and wishes to be a top of shelf wide receiver...get a fantasy team and DRAFT him!

He's nowhere near a here and now status to take away millions AND a top pick.

Still easily a top 15 talent in this draft. Not every WR needs to run a 4.4

This type of receiver is always open with his size and physicality, Treadwell has ball skills and play making ability to be sure, so if he fell to our second the conversation would have to be had....

Initially, I read reports of his inability to separate due to speed but after watching his tape more intently, the guy does not need to separate but so much because of his size and physicality.

I would like a talented deep threat burner myself, something we have not had in ages but I would not be opposed to adding a talent like Treadwell say he fell to #34 which I doubt but may be possible.

I like it!

#4 is too high for Treadwell but if he's there in the 2nd round which he won't be....but if he is? You take him. How on earth is having 2 Dez's a bad thing lol?

Having two similar players, just who do you think gets the ball delivered from Tony Romo. Having two different attack weapons, that requires a viewing.

I don't see how that's a player? Neither are speedsters. Neither were Brandon Marshall and Jeffrey's and they had no problem. Fitzgerald and Boldin didn't have that problem. t just don't see how two players who could potentially both require double teams is a bad thing. I don't believe this notion that you need your two best receivers to have two different skillsets.

Now i'm not saying i'd take him with our #4 pick. That's too high for a team that already has a star receiver. But if in some way he was to fall......I wouldn't stay away from him because he's too much like Dez. He's too much like a top 5 player in the league? I'd sign up for that problem.

Perhaps one thinks that the center of a field can't get over filled to be really effective in a vertical passing group.

Perhaps one doesn't recognize what is involved with Rigor Mortis and Lividity. If all is done, is to attempt to get a lesser Bryant clone, why not stick with a proven Terrence Williams...who at least functions in the role of expanding the top when Bryant is on the field. Why invest for another Bryant then. He won't be at the top of this draft, anyway...now.

Seriously, YOU trading down now, for HIM?

Put up film of Scandrick going up against him, and I might listen...not cherry picking at the collegiate levels, when ability differences are so glaring in a 'highlight' film.

It's not terrible, but is it ideal? Generally, you want a big possession receiver along with a speedster that stretches the defense. The speedster keeps defenses honest about cheating their safeties up close which gives your slot and possession receiver along with your running game more room to operate.

I think we've had enough, after last year, of condensed defenses not giving a crap about anything other than our 2 threat (dez and running game) squad or even 1 threat (dez injured) offense. Pretty cool seeing 11 men cheating up close and between the tackles all day.

Good post, at least this prescribes more than a cheerleader stance. For someone going into a draft, having not prepared adequately at the least, and to have a ton riding on demonstrating his own commitment. You state the real cause, but I've lost faith in the top level qualities for this player. He wouldn't get a chance as my top receiver with that showing, unless I were desperate.

Good snapshot, really...thanks for your effort.

I didn't say he was a solution. I agreed with another poster about his judgment of the player.
