I think that it's controlling down and distance, most importantly, by limiting Damon Harrison's impact on the run game. Control Harrison, then you dictate to the Giants. If he wrecks the run game, then the Giants dictate to the Cowboys.

This. Although I think it's not limited to Harrison's impact on the run game, as Olivier and JPP can be good, too. But it all starts with our running game. If Zeke gets to 30 carries the Giants are in trouble.

Collins at RT.

If he struggles against JPP/Vernon, it's going to be a fairly long game IMO.
He will struggle we saw a sample size performance vs Mack. I'm not knocking the guy; long term he will be fine but it is his first "real" game at RT and he goes up one of the best DLs in the game. Gonna be fun to watch.

I think the giants will be a bit weaker against our run game due to the loss of Hankins. He was very stout next to Harrison and i believe that really affected us.

The key to the game is getting Eli on the ground, pressured and hurried into mistakes.

The problem with Eli is he gets the ball out quick so the coverage is going to have to be on point for us to get pressure.

Too often we allow Eli to just play pitch and catch on us and we wouldn't get to him if we had 4 HOF DL.

So, IMO the key to the game is tight coverage on that quick passing game and it will generate a better pass rush.

I'm not going to be shocked should our defense prove ineffective in pass coverage, so the 'key' is in Prescott's ability to remain poised as there's not a doubt in my former military mind that he'll see the kitchen sink hurled at him right out of the gate and should there be doubt or confusion in reading n.y. pass coverage ,he should check down and look for witten for 4-5 forward yards or Elliott on the edge who CAN turn the corner for 15+ easy or carry it himself,,, the 'Key' is playing with conviction not confusion,,, and #4 is on a mission this year, of that I have no doubt.o_O

I expect we are going to give up a crap ton of yards tomorrow night. That will be Rod's plan. Let them move the ball between the 20s and just hope to hold them to FGs, or get one of those things Western called "turnovers".

Key to the game is not doing what they did last year against the giants. Don't beat yourself. Both games last year the Cowboys beat the Cowboys.

Wait, are you saying Collins struggled with Mack?

I think it was the exact opposite.

Yup,
He and Joseph of the Vikes were the only DTs to handle our interior oline play effectively last year.
Ravens also get an honorable mention cuz they handled our run game for a half anyway.

We win trench war fare against practically all 31 others.

Gotta give Gotham city pukes their due for assembling a d- line and secondary custom made to prevent what we do best.

There is always one arch nemesis in all sports matchup it seems.
