Wait, are you saying Collins struggled with Mack?

I think it was the exact opposite.

He did get 3 penalties in the game. In my opinion the hands to the face was a bs call, he had the shoulder pad and the hold was pretty weak.

Overall I thought he showed pretty well, the offense moved the ball up and down the field.

We need to pass the ball better. Dont allow them to stack the box every play and force them to respect Dak's arm. That's why we were swept last year. Not the running game. Not the OL. Contrary to what most people believe, i do not believe that they dominated the LOS against us. They won their battles up front but so did we. The first game there was time to throw and there were holes to run through but Zeke seemed to be running without the patience that he ran with starting against chicago. Second game they brought the kitchen sink many times and Dak wasn't able to beat the blitz. Zeke has a decent game running the ball but again our passing game was not efficient nor effective.

3 penalties is not good bad call or not.

Look at the penalties. Two were hands to the face that had nothing to do with him getting beat. Just lack of discipline.

I'd be more concerned if he picked up like 4 holds because Mack was dominating him, but in fact, the opposite happened. He held his own against Mack.

Do penalties have to be cleaned up? Sure. Did he get whipped by Mack that game to the point we should expect him to get whipped by JPP? Not at this point. He was more than good enough against Mack that game.

Key to the game (SWITZER) and Zeke catching balls down field. We are going to toast them.

To me Beasley is the key offensively. The Giants did a good job oh him in the 2nd game, not sure how much of that was the weather but need him to keep the chains moving.

They were still called and that is my point.

I'm challenging my offensive line. "People say you're the best. Prove that tonight."

I thought the biggest difference in losing the two games against the Giants last year was the offensive line's failure to handle their defensive line.

Collins at RT.

If he struggles against JPP/Vernon, it's going to be a fairly long game IMO.
Key? Yes. Largest key? I disagree because if necessary, the Cowboys can give him help should he struggle, as they did with Free.

For me, the largest key is the collective success (or lack thereof) the Cowboys offensive line has against the Giants defensive line.

Largest key....getting pressure on Eli and hitting him over and over. Bad OL, no running game. The passing game is all they have. Give Eli no time to survey the field and find his recievers.

I think that it's controlling down and distance, most importantly, by limiting Damon Harrison's impact on the run game. Control Harrison, then you dictate to the Giants. If he wrecks the run game, then the Giants dictate to the Cowboys.
They need to Geno Atkin's him.

Actually you started this by saying that he will struggle because we saw him struggle against Mack in that preseason game.

But he didn't really struggle with Mack. He actually played pretty well against Mack.
Yes based on his level of play I do believe he is going to struggle and have some bumps in the road. It's par for the course.

That's fine. Buy you offered up his play against Mack as proof for your opinion. Fact is, he actually acquitted himself well against Mack and never really had a situation where Mack just beat him.

Pass better on them, than they pass on us.

Thats virtually the key to winning every football game. Eli outplayed Dak in both games last year and that was the difference.

We won 5 in a row with Romo, because he consistently outplayed Eli

More like an opinion especially since he had three penalties.

Let's not overthink things. The truth is that quarterbacks win games in this league, and Prescott will be the key to this game New York will focus on the run game and short-to-intermediate passes just like last time. It's going to be up to him to be that.

If Dallas finds a pass rush, the Cowboys will win comfortably.

If not, this is going to be an all-night muthah.
