To me it looks like he took his eyes off the ball to find the defender and where the hit was coming from. No way IMO did he put full effort and undivided attention to looking the ball into his hands. If he did he is a worse WR than I thought.

Like I said, given his ribs I don't wholeheartedly blame the guy. But if he can't play get someone in there who can, that was a catchable ball in a game where one play can make all the difference.

Romo wasn't throwing the ball away after 3 seconds so he didn't get hit in the back again.
