Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms with free agent OG Larry Allen (Cowboys), pending a physical. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Makes sense. He's got a pad not far from here and close to Napa (9ers training camp). I'm sure he'll be making his rounds at the Gold Club and Mitchel Brothers.

I hope he is, and I'm glad for him that he has found a good situation. It probably was time for him and the Cowboys to move on with all the changes taking place but we Cowboy fans owe him a lot. He was the best.
