Id still take either Johnson, Andre or Calvin before him.

He's definitely a circus catching looney tho. Something Owens, especially this late in his career, could learn from him.

Dude is a flat out stud and he minds his business when it comes to the team.

Andre Johnson is also a straight up freak. Both these guys just catch anything their way all day long.

No. He's like a Diet Marvin Harrison. Big time finesse receiver who disappears when things get physical.

You can throw a blanket over the two of them-Andre does have a big speed advantage.

Yeah. That's my only beef with Fitz. You dont notice it as much cause he can outjump so many DBs who have good coverage on him by catching balls at their highest points, but he's not out running his coverage compared to most the elite receivers out there.

Fitz is a beast, his route running is very very underrated. He's technician.

It's too close in my opinion for there to be a clear cut number one.

My top five:
Fitz
Randy Moss
Andre Johnson
Steve Smith

I cant even imagine how good Calvin would be if he had a decent QB. Also Andre is just straight up sick. Id rank them as follows:

Andre
Calvin
Larry

Calvin is an absolute freak. Will be the greatest receiver of all time when it's all said and done in my opinion (if he can stay healthy of course) He's still young though, and I couldnt put him in my top 5. After next season though, he'll prob be regarded as the best in the game.

Everything I've read said he has one of the best work ethics coaches have seen. Add to that that he's 6'5, has a 39" vertical, and ran a can run a 4.3 40, and you have everything needed to be the best of all time.

My Top 5....

1. A. Johnson

2. C. Johnson

3. S. Smith

4. R. Wayne...Once he goes back to Peyton's right, like he was most of last year, he'll kill it again.

5. L. Fitz

It's pretty said Roy Williams isn't on anyone's list and Jerry Jones gave him all that money... That speaks volumes about his GM abilities.

Steve Smith is the best receiver in the league and it isn't close. The only one who can stop him is his own quarterback...Delhomme actually finds a way to do that sometimes, somehow. If he had even a respectable starting QB, he'd threaten 2,000 yards every season.

Fitzgerald might be the best jump ball receiver of all-time, however. Coverage doesn't seem to matter with him. But he's slower than sap flowing uphill on a winter's eve, so you have to have great protection to get the ball to him for any sort of big play.

With Smith, if you press him, he's going right by you. If you play off, you just throw him the quick hitch and he'll get big play after the catch....possibly take it 70 yards for a TD. He's the best route runner in football; just breaks people's ankles and leaves them in the dust. He can dominate on the jump ball.
