Late game thread

49ers and Bears in contention for number one pick in the draft right now.

He is a VERY good QB, however, the fact he's been in exactly the same offensive system for all 10 years of his career, IMHO, has a lot to do with the Packer's offensive success.

Most great QBs only play in one system during their careers.

It still cracks me up that the Giants gave up picks and Rivers to get Eli.

*cue the Eli has two rings crowd

I don't think anybody in NY laments the decision.

Would you?

Personally, it would torque me off if my team gave up the better QB and picks to get the lesser QB. Even if we still won Super Bowls.

Hear it told on CZ, the Giants won DESPITE Eli Manning. That and luck.

Allegedly...

I think people are afraid that if they give Eli Manning credit it would seem they are ranking him above Romo. Manning made some great throws in the Super Bowl games; that pass to Manningham was just a great throw and not luck.

I still have huge criticisms of Manning, far too inconsistent. But if Manning and Flacco can win Super Bowls, QBs like Romo, Ryan, and Rivers can as well. Luck is always involved with balls bouncing your way (Gaints Vs. 49ers), but it's all about that hot streak in the NFL.

This is the worst fantasy football team I've fielded in a decade. Started with taking Dez and continued downhill from there.

Kapernick is awful. How long before he gets benched?

Tavon Austin looks like he finally figuring out what it mean to play in the NFL.
