Late game thread

Besides QB rating, which is boosted by throwing 1 yard TD passes (as opposed to handing off like most QBs who aren't stat-obsessed do) what possible reason would anyone say Rodgers is the best? It sure as heck isn't Super Bowl rings or playoff performance in general as there are a number who outdo him there.

Aaron Rodgers advocates would look at maybe 3 stats to make their case:
  • Rodgers has the largest Yards Per Attempt (8.2) in the NFL's modern era. If you beyond the modern era only Sid Luckman and Otto Graham have longer YPAs -- barely....
  • Aaron Rodger's interception % is the lowest in NFL history for QBs with more than 500 attempts
  • Those two stats taken together don't compute/jive/whatever you want to call it. The QB who throws the most deep passes in the modern era by definition should not have the lowest interception rate in NFL history.

They'll be a riot in downtown Philly if Foles leads the Rams to a better record than Bradford leads the Eagles.

Eagles should have never gotten rid of Foles at least not for Bradford.
