I don't understand the connection you are trying to make. What does him being a great defensive mind have to do with the team quitting on him? The team supposedly quitting on him had everything to do with him being a bad head coach. He was a bad hire from the start.

honestly I don't know.. I just know that our team quitting on Wade was one of lowest times for me as a fan. It was down right embarrassing for our entire team to mail it in. I suppose I'm still disgusted by it. I always liked Wade the person and the coach..our players did him wrong.

Wade always has a #1 defense in his first year. It's the 2nd and 3rd years that are the problem.

I agree our players did him wrong but he was an awful head coach. He's always been mediocre at best. Now he is a very good defensive coach. I wouldn't have mind him just coaching the defense but that was not to be.

if you can't command the respect of your players to work for you... than you shouldn't be a head coach....

So much falseness and inaccuracies in this post. Well first of all doe doe, Wade has NEVER had a #1 ranked defense so 'another #1 ranked defense' is complete false. Number 2 he was never going to be defensive coordinator here after getting fired as a head coach and Number 3 no one except you misses him.

Pretty sure Rodgers went out of bounds intentionally there so he can pad his stats with a 1 yard TD pass...
