Yes on a yearly bases Gronk has been better, much better actually.... I think many are stating a career where Gonzalez is owning almost every record possible for a TE. This is not to say Gronk is not great, just Gronk, much like Witten, still has a way to go to eclipse what Gonzalez has done. Witten still has a chance but it will take more years than I think he has left. With Gronk we have to wait and see if he also has the gift of longevity. He may very well prove he is the best in history.

It doesn't matter what Tony said most of it comes down to the numbers and Gonzalez's numbers dwarf Gronks. Gronk is a beast and is clearly the best TE in the game but he's had injuries and the many missed games have kept his production from being where it could have been.
