And Gronk's career isnt ending today.

Some think Eric Williams was better than Larry Allen but Allen played a high level much longer than William's who was never the same after a car accident. Allen is in the HOF and Eric Williams will never be in the HOF.

Sadly Gonzalez has everyone in longevity. Makes his records so hard to beat. It will take a stellar career by anyone to beat his records. I will give Trouty and Rob'G that Gronk is beating him year after year. I just don't like the term GOAT until it is proven. Greatest right now and proving it year after year I have no issue saying they are right and I liked their opinion to show such.

I understand longevity means a lot as it should, but career records dont decide who's the best for me. It's who dominates at their position in a way that had not been seen before and for the TE position, that's been Gronk.

I'm not wrong about anything, most will still put Gonzalez ahead of Gronk based on his longevity, career numbers and that he didn't play with a solid QB or on many good teams until he arrived in Atlanta later in his career. He padded his numbers with scrub QBs, while Gronk has had the luxury of playing with Brady on some great NE teams. Give it a rest!

I swear for the better part of the last 15 years, New England's defense has been the definition of "Bend, but dont Break". Everybody always wants to talk about Brady this, Brady that but the main reason they won their first 3 rings is cause they had an elite defense. The offense didnt start rolling til that 3rd Super Bowl.
