In this scenario and we only have guys on defense we deem 2nd rd, I hope we consider some of the Olineman who had to have slipped. Like DJ Humphries, Aj Cann and the likes(both make the boys better).
I do not get the feeling OO slips out of the first rd just my gut nor should he if his injury has healed. These next ten days are going to provide more movement in the media drafts than anything we have seen since the combine.
Me personally hope we have a choice of OO, and Gurley, if not capitalize on our position as some offensive talent will have slide and will be attractive at 27. The DB's in this draft are plentiful just not a very top heavy talent pool IMO. Like TM119 stated good talent in the 3rd rd just physically underwhelming.

What would yours be.

Fair enough.

If the two backs are gone:

1. Kevin Johnson CB
2. La'el Collins OL
3. Jalen Collins CB

At this point of the draft #27, I'm not seeing any DL or any other backs worth taking who do not represent a poor return on the pick. In other words taking a DL at #27 is probably going to be a reach.

Would take the 1st two handsdown, just don't see either making it to 27. looks like steelers really like johnson and cowboysz have shown no interest in collins

I'm starting to think a trade down, if they can pull it off would be preferable.

To get into the very beginning of round 2, a few of those guys you listed become much more appealing.

That it would. Just hope they don't put too much stock into that 5th year option and reach for a player.

Chances are very high that by the time the Cowboys draft in the first round (if they stay where they are at) most of the players they have rated on their board as first round grades will be gone.
Been saying for weeks a trade down is at least a 50/50 chance.

In that situation, the Cowboys may have two players (or more) similarly graded. If player A in that group is a consensus early 2nd round pick but player B is considered by most to be more of a late 2nd round selection, then you take player A with the 27th pick and hope player B falls to you in the second round.

No brainer, you just have to take the BPA.

Somebody will fall, just may not be sexy.

If all this happens and DGB is still sitting there, he may be worth the risk.

Look at Moss and Dez. They fell and made huge impacts.
