Where do you get I am getting my hopes up. I was just giving where fans can get information from, to keep an eye on things. Pointing out at that time posted, were no OL available on the waivers yet.

There are several that have been available for a few months now. Lists posted everywhere.

I think the only one we really need to worry about being poached is Hendershot.

I can live with the other ones being poached.

We're going to have to risk a few players on waivers to get who we need onto IR.
He is the one guy I'm worried about losing.

I want him on this team.

In case anyone is wondering.

This is the latest FA signings, and no waiver claims yet, no OL since around August 20th, and those were no names,

Latest waived, no one claimed yet

Teams hanging onto the OL for now. See what the next 2 days brings.
Maybe Vasher clears and gets on the PS.
A decent LT only gets cut if he’s way over paid
It’s a really hard position to play and teams want to hang on to them

Should've signed Billy Turner after G.Bay cut him for cap savings. Ultimate position flex.....RT, RG, LT for packers. Signed w Denver for 2.5

Isn't that what the PS is for? To give raw talent a year or two?
not at the expense of Smith. Vash MAYBE on the PS.. but I can think of more worthy guys. I rather have Houston there and then bring back a vet like Nall.

Meh. I would have as soon moved on from Washington rather than roster juggling and risk losing another player for an as-of-yet disappointing one-year rental.
Btw why the heck we clinging to JW? This guy wont be a factor much if at all this year. I like him, like his family and live down the street from Stamford. That said, we need guys NOW. He doesnt do a thing for us.I dont get it I guess. Seems like a foolish move and waste of a spot.We never learn when 2 cut bait.

I agree. It’s nothing personal with the player. But you win sone, you lose some. This one is a loss. And they shouldn’t be risking other young players to keep that loss going.

But far too often, this team are the last to realize this or admit mistakes.

Your crystal ball visions on JW should be shared with the rest of us so we know why you don't want him around. The season hasn't started so, what was he supposed to do for us? Maybe you're being a bit premature with your criticism of the man. ;)

this is a win now league. Im not a fan of developing guys for 3 years only to invest all the resources so they can be good on another team. Heck with that. I want a guy that can help us right now. Smith fits the bill. We already invested time with him for 2-3 years and he is ready. If we cut him or try to stash him, we will lose him. I guarantee ya. Number 80 can play well right now.
That’s what seems to happen. We develop them and they shine in the contract year and they take another offer.

Do we ever get players that other teams develop. Young and ready to sign a descent contract..
great point. I actually cant think of 1. MAYBE the last time that happened was when we got Haley here via trade. He was still on the upswing. In his prime. Hadnt quite hit his full potential til he came here then he took off like a rocket ship. That was over 2 decades ago.
