I'd give the 3rd if would redo his deal. Who can you get in the 3rd round that you'd bet would be better than 3 years of AP running behind our OL?

Peterson should still have "it" but I dont think the Vikes intend to pay him that salary this year and big $ for RB market should be just about dried up. Maybe they will be forced to release him? I am sure this has been hashed and rehashed ad naseum already. Apologies in advance.

*** THAT!!! Don't give up any picks (MAYBE a 7th IF Peterson is willing to sign a drastically reduced contract), they'll eventually have to release him. Minny ain't paying his current contract and neither is anyone else. Give it time and he'll be on the open market. Hopefully they learned from the Roy Williams fiasco.

Isn't it funny how they had no plans of trading or cutting him, had a meeting in his home, then another in NY, plans for a third meeting and now have come out and said what it would take for a trade? They need to stop backpeddling if they truly want to hold his market.

I'll give the third rounder as well. We were probably going to use on of the top 3'picks on a running back anyway. As long as Peterson will rework to a reasonable deal.
