Well it's Gurley his contract vs. Peterson his contract and a 1st round defender.

Plus Gurley has health issues to resolve and is an unknown for NFL production. He could be another Peterson or another Trent RIchardson.

Peterson would have to take a major pay cut the Cowboys aren't going to pay big money for an RB and give up a 3rd round pick in the process especially for an aging RB.
