Laufenberg concerned about Romo's back

There was a mention of him being rusty, but has since picked it up. Still, there's nothing reported about his back being a concern. *shrug*

Well, during his comments, they were showing numerous overthrows and balls delivered two yards in the ground short of the receiver. SEVERAL throws.

Laufenberg said he hasn't seen him this inaccurate since he was a rookie.

I know had the procedure been major Romo would still be out rehabbing. OTA he was able to throw on the side and while I have heard he was a bit rusty at the start of camp just as others have said he has looked sharp since. Not sure what Babe is seeing.

The local sports radio guys do whole segments on the ridiculous things that Laufenberg says on he radio broadcasts that he does with Brad Sham.

Who? I listen to them all, and I've never heard any of that. Babe is highly respected here.

I live in DFW and listen to all 3 sport talk radio stations all day Monday thru Friday. I've heard multiple show hosts make fun of Laufenberg and point out some of the "look at me" things that he says.

He is probably more popular than the sports guys on other TV stations, but that's a really low bar of achievement.

Aikman's back he had multiple surgeries for herniated discs....big difference from having a cyst removed.

Romo has looked fine when I have seen him and the camp reports are all pretty much positive. I don't think there is an issue here.

I'm sure most of Tony's throws are fine, however; since there are some throws Tony has always struggled with, those are likely worse. There is no coincidence that we are using the TE's and RB's, and middle of the field more this year than ever.

and Romo would still be out. There are a lot of reports and I will post them it you like sayihng Romo has looked sharp in camp. Again you want to dive into panic mode that is your choice but as for the word is coming out please provide some evidence besides Babe. I have yet to see anyone report that it was anything other than a cyst.

Also, I don't know enough about Babe to comment on how legit he is overall, however I can say out of all the reports I've read so far his is the first to suggest Romo doesn't look good. I'd think if it was true we'd have heard at least one other media outlet be all over it.

I agree. If Romo was looking bad I think we would be hearing that from NFL Network who has been out there, ESPN and a host of others yet that is not the case.

Anything that Laufenberg says is irrelevant.

Not true at all.

"Laughing Boy" may have been a terrible QB and a Commander but he has real instinct for picking up player nuances most of us miss. He is not always right in his analysis but when he talks we should at least listen.

It would be news to me if it is a disc.

My Dad had a cyst removed from his back....it left an open wound the size of a golf ball if not bigger that they couldn't close....it had to heal from the inside out. Took well over a month to do so.

I think there are people just throwing stuff out to see what sticks.

And Romo hasn't been stinking up camp by any reports I have seen.
