Please, don't kid yourself. Law would have been a horrible signing, and would be another in the long list of BP players that get a free ride. I'd take henry over him too. Should we count last year against law, you know, he was injured when it mattered most...

Laws career accomplishments aren't relevant at all. RIght now Henry is a better cornerback. He is both younger, and not as much of a liability in terms of speed. In 3 years, Newman and Henry will just be entering their 30s, and depending on how they take care of their bodies, could still be in their prime. Law will be long gone.
We don't need law, because he just isn't elite anymore. Henry was injured this year, Law was injured last year. Players get injured so what? It is just another thing to add to the many reasons we collapsed this season.

DO you know what we would have to offer law? For how long would he be effective? Its painfully obvious what are problems are, OL and LB. Linebacking might fix itself , if James steps up in the leadership role and Burnett can makke the adjustment to ILB. OL needs to be completely revamped. Don't waste money on a player that is on the decline who would play a limited role.
