DO you know what we would have to offer law? For how long would he be effective? Its painfully obvious what are problems are, OL and LB. Linebacking might fix itself , if James steps up in the leadership role and Burnett can makke the adjustment to ILB. OL needs to be completely revamped. Don't waste money on a player that is on the decline who would play a limited role.

????
Have you ever seen Ty Law play in person? I have 40 times. Dude is a borderline hall of famer. Lets do this again. He signed for LESS than Henry. Has 6 interceptions and I guarantee this, in both Commander games WR's don't release on him and score those bomb 3TD's.....

And when teams try and run - he's a force.

I want players - maybe we get him and Henry in 2006.....

Law is CB - and skins never get those 2 bombs for TD's as he gets into the WR's...

You don't think 6 inters make a difference on a season?

Law is a haller - and all this denial is exactly tht denial. Wanna archive the Law wheelchair jokes and he sux posts? Dare me..... You know who you are.....

I would still love to have him at free safety. But I think he may still want too much. If we could get him at a discount and put him at free safety that would take our defense to another level.

No your post is whacky. Law on a football field never has to block a Dlineman.... But he sure can come up in run support and take our RB's. If you watched/knew Law - he's one of the best run support CB's that ever played this game.

And your kids can read that in Canton at the Hall of fame.

The seven stages of reading that ridiculous idea. No regrets over signing a guy to play at an all-pro level before he goy injured.

I'm curious whether you have actually seen Law play this year. 6 ints is one thing but there is no "blown assignment" stat.

I'm not saying I've been following him that closely but from what I've heard from Jets fans is that he really hasn't been that great. Giving up multiple big plays on poor coverage and poor tackling.

Also if I'm not mistaken (which I very well might be) Law got two of those picks on last second (end of half, end of game) heave hoes. Don't know if you can really count those.

Nors, why do you have to bash Henry just to prop up Ty Law. Didnt he miss most of the year in New England and the Patriots still won the Super Bowl, thus proving a team can win without Ty Law in their line up.

Glenn played Moss perfectly in Game 2 against the Skins, Moss just made a fantastic dive and catch.

The other 2 bombs in game 1 were the result of predictability and calling gushy, prevent zone coverages.

Nobody can predict injuries. If Henry stays healthy, I think he comes real close to making it to the Pro Bowl.

It is what it is

Law , Hall of famer and 6 picks are not a coincidence. He's a run support Beast.

No dis on Henry but 20 years from now Law is in CANTON and Henry is what he is a nice JAG.

The Dallas Cowboys have no interest in Ty Law and have not had interest in him. It has to do with his agents.

Any report that they were ever interested is false. By all means write anyone working for the Cowboys and they will confirm this.

There never was a deal. Not in any form. Please do not take my word for it. Ask for yourself. I did and more than one source.

Also please consider these things as evidence there was never any interest in Ty Law.

Jean Jacques Taylor reads this forum. He has seen these claims. Anyone who thinks he would not have investigated this story and reported it if there was anything to it does not know how much he values a scoop.

Mickey Spagnola was asked in his mailbag columns while Law was free this summer if Dallas was interested. Mickey said "no." Please ask Dale if Mickey is dialed in or not.

While on the subject of Dale, please consider that he has undoubtedly read the hundreds of posts on this subject and seen the claims of a source with the Patriots. If there were anything to this at all an Intern Writer looking for a world class scoop would have been on this story like a dog on a bone. There is no story. Never has been.

The claim was a 2nd round pick in 2004. We'd offer a 2nd in 2004, but after 2004 when he was free we wouldn't even bring him in for a look? Do the math. Is it adding up?

Any claim that Ty Law was coming to Dallas is simply a fantasy and has no basis in fact.

I still can't comprehend how eventually having a bust in Canton is going to help our team now.

I wonder if the Playmaker and Art Monk are available.....cuz 20 years from now.....

Henry was a Great pickup FA..When he was Healthy.

But Law isn't Healthy all the time Either!

I will say that I wasn't thrilled with Henry's signing...Being from Cleveland...He didn't have the most sterling reputation. But he proved that wrong! Again when Healthy.

No its not rediculous at all - we may have overpaid for JAG in Henry....

Hall of famer Law rolls on with 6 more picks...

All the Law detractors were WR, WR , WR OOOOO NNNN GGGGG

All the wheelchair jokes - you in that Junk? :)

I don't think I made wheel chair jokes, but I did express concern about a low character, aging corner back with serious injury concerns. Not to mention the fact that he was/is looking for a high dollar deal and is represented by the Postons.

From several accounts, Law has played terribly this year. Looking at his six picks is misleading. He is having serious issues with the new PI enforcement.

Henry has been dinged up this year, but has played pretty well when healthy. I thought he has been very good in run support. From NFL.com, it appears he has missed a whopping three games prior to this year. For the most part, very durable.

Funny, now that Dallas flounders a bit, Nors fires back with what the team should of done....his plan. Ty Law was on the back burner when the team was doing well and all we heard about was Shanle. Not seeing many Shanle posts these days....

Henry and Law had the exact same number of INTS through their first five years (this is Henry's fifth).

I don't think Law is even remotely close to being a HOF lock.
