Thanks. So if I understand it right he did take a pay cut but the compromise was he is guaranteed 30 million and no chance if being a cap casualty next season. So this seems like good news. I'm scared to say I'm happy about it. Haven't said that in a while.

Yeah it was a really good move for both sides.

He did the Cowboys a big favor with that deal. They get to keep a good player at $20M per year for 2 years instead of $27M and $29M respectively. Love him or hate him, he's a big piece to that defense, albeit overpaid. They can pay him $20M this year, pare $7M from the cap hit and cut him next year with $10M dead cap hit.

right but this now makes RG expendable and at 10 no reason to want to cut him etc i like he was willing to compromise as its technically a pay cut but now has guaranteed final years of his career,

if he was released or traded people would say its a bad move

hes staying and people will still complain

if youre looking at sack numbers for dlaw then idk what to tell you.....hes not dwight freeney hes an all around defensive end whos good at everything you have someone that can free up linebackers stop the run apply pressure and and set the edge on run plays

I'm not doing this with you. Are you one of the fans that look at 1 Star..sacks....seriously go look at his stats and how our defense is with and without him

Cant answer the question in the post can you.....or dont want to.....DLAW is SMOKE and MIRRORS....does a great disappearing act and collects paychecks
