Hmmm. His wife is claiming that this is a setup because of the show that was taped about him the other day. I am starting to have suspicions as well. Just odd that a girl that has been pimped out has the ability to make phone calls and get help. It generally doesn't work like that.

IDK but it happens man. I'm pretty sure that LT isn't the first guy to bang a girl and find out that she was underage. He also won't be the last guy to do this. I highly doubt that he asked for a young girl like this to bang. My man just wanted to get a little something something while at his hotel room.

Had that show even aired at the time of the alleged nailing of a 16 year old little girl? I thought it had not, but I could be wrong.

His wife does not appear to be the sharpest knife in the drawer. With all the crappy things LT has done in his life including the coke, hookers and girlfriends now all of a sudden he is being set up? You could walk into his bar and see all three taking place out in the open. There is no reason to set him up. He sets himself up. Not much effort by others required.

I think we all need to take it slowly and wait for all the concrete details to come out. We need to take everything with a grain of salt until we know more but it doesn't look good for LT. As far as I know this is the first sexual misconduct charge/incident with him so iono if it is absolutely 100% credible.

HIV doesn't lie "dormant". You may not exhibit any signs, but a simple swab of your saliva can reveal if you have the HIV antibodies present or not.

Yes because DECRIMINALIZING one drug (cannabis) in less than five ounces less than a year ago while the biggest market for the stuff by far is still smashing down the doors of Grandmas really shows that legalizing stuff doesn't shut down the cartels.

Legalizing prostitution would do a good deal to see that this sort of thing doesn't occur. If prostitution was legal for adult women, then suddenly more exotic (i.e. unethical) attractions would lose a lot of the allure, as then there would be a very substantial difference in punishment (none vs. lots of hard time).

But all of that is ancillary to the central point: If Lawrence Taylor did this he needs to burn and if the rumors I've heard about what they do to child rapists in prison is true, then he'll be burning an awful lot.

My understanding is this took place in Ramapo NJ. 16 is the age of consent in NJ. I used to live there. I made sure all my hookers were at least 16.

So finally heard something about this case on ESPN after shrugging it off to an actual rape acse.....I thought he actually RAPED someone.....not just had sex with a prostitute....which to me, is two totally different things, even if she was 16. I'm sorry, it should't be RAPE if it's consentual. The dictionary term uses "force" in all its definition of rape. No force, no need to include the term rape.

Did he do something bad? Maybe. But saying he raped someone in every headline aint right.

The rape comes into play because of her being under the legal age. It becomes statutory rape so their headline is correct.

One to something else.

The reports are saying that the police said that LT admitted to having sex with the girl and then it flashes to a clip of LT's lawyer giving a statement that LT did NOT have CONSENSUAL sex with anyone that night. I thought it was odd that he would say consensual each time because it would seem he would just say he did not have sex with anyone that night. Adding consensual almost makes it sound like some slimy lawyer trick that might make a normal person think he is saying something where down the road he could say...I never said he did not have forced sex, I said he did not have consensual sex.
But I imagine there was a legal reason he was saying that that plays into the case being brought against LT so if anyone knows why he would say that please chime in.
