LB Bobby Wagner released

If you didnt see the drop in his play when he left Seattle and signed with the LA then you don't pay much attention.

More of a well known name than a talent at this point in his career.
Still worthy of a starting gig at the right price, but his best days are behind him now.
Wagner was a beast in his prime years.
I believe he played pretty darn well last season

Stephen offers a 1/4lb with cheese and a shake from whataburger.
no that would actually cost him $ , cant have that.
he would give coupons for papa johns pizza , and free pizza whenever cowboys win.
maybe some official beer of the cowboys, and a sleep # bed from dak.

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised and in the meanwhile we'll get a 40 year old linebacker hoping he still has some juice in him
The Cowboys have never had a 40 year old linebacker and never will.

I think its the media that attaches the name Cowboys to every top FA.. The Jones ain't interested most of the time. In Wagner's case Dallas was interested but Wagner was not..
Not true. Wagner wasn’t interested in the money we were offering but was interested

Wait.... I thought everyone wanted Comp picks.

Are we back to ditching Comp picks in favor of old free agents on their last leg?

Or my favorite...are we still doing the ole We Want Comp picks AND To Sign A Bunch Of Free Agents fantasy?
Since he was released and not a expiring contract free agent he doesn't count against Comp picks anyway. Nice rant though.

Keep in mind: Players need to have been signed as unrestricted free agents before May 2 and rank high enough among their peers to qualify for the compensatory-pick formula. Players that were released by their previous team are not eligible for the formula, so they're not included in the key additions and losses here.
