lol it's crazy because coaches give criticisms, so guys know what to work on, your employer gives criticism to make you and the job running in a positive manner. Sucks that you can't be a fan and offer criticism, I guess you have to do what Jerry wants and ONLY offer positive things about the players!
I thought it was a funny jab at someone who tells you to go find another team if you are critical of #4, but it's ok to be critical of other players on the roster. Go figure... Be critical of everyone but #4.

I watched up until the Montgomery td (mostly on mute - I’d rather trust my own analysis then listen to a guy who is admittedly not a football player) and so far it looks like a lot of nitpicking, and I need to emphasize I’ve been one of Clark’s biggest critics.

  • first play he does hesitate to shoot the gap, but Diggs also has the blocker on his backside already, there’s no way the runner should have got to the edge against either player.
  • second play is completely on 27, we’re back to the Byron Jones days of CBs having no idea where the ball is.
  • third play, for Lord knows what reason we run a DT stunt on an obvious run down. The tackles take themselves out of the play and now Detroit has 4 blockers on 3 defenders, you cant make this up

I stopped at Montgomery’s TD. The whole defensive line got blown 5 yards off the ball. I mean sure if I wanted to I could find a critique of Clark on the play but when your line is consistently getting whipped and the coach is consistently getting outschemed whats the point?
I hate when guys talk about not listening to an analyst because they “never played”. There are plenty of people who are great at their job that never played. In every sport there are guys who could coach and talk and know a ton more than a guy who played.

All I ever hear from these toadies is that you cannot blame just one player ....... but that's all they do as long as it is not Dak.

best example I can think of is Matt Millen who was a Pro Bowl LB and arguably the worst GM in modern NFL history

No need to sign a Bobby Wagner when an injured fifth round pick can do the job for much cheaper.

That’s one small example of how this team missed their window.

The current/upcoming down cycle is normal and expected. They took a pass on trying to get better. But hey at least we don’t have cap problems now, yes?

They aren’t good at this.

I hate when CZ posters skim over a whole post of football related content to focus on the most immaterial part of the post.

i loved this pick at the time.
but he's been very disappointing.
where's the Lsu kid i saw on saturdays?
He’s still there just not playing his natural position. He’s not a middle linebacker but he’s being forced to play there like last year. Why not put overshown in a position to fail?

Interesting he was our best player according to PFF.

Also interesting based on what he highlighted he wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. He even highlighted a few plays he has well. Certainly we need Kendricks there.
Does PFF count when the player is unable to get there?

Then don’t start by writing something at the top that will make 3/4 the group stop reading

I mean, bruh, this is how it reads .
“I’m gonna comment on the content of this video, even though I didn’t watch it all, or listen to it because the guy who made the video never played football, so he shouldn’t comment “

What else needs to be read lol.

Is Kendrick’s the prototypical size MLB he looks small ? I see him getting buried in blocks quite often as the running back is blowing by the DT’s. Long term Kendrick’s especially past 30 is not the answer to the quiz either .

I hate to say this but the entire front 7 can use help in the draft and or FA . Overshown and Liafau look set on the wings at LB but Dallas has really no depth .
Most MLB's weigh around 235-245. It's actually not a position for bigger players. Maybe it once was, but now the MLB has to be able to get off blocks, and the ones who do it best are the slippery ones.

Looking down the list of the best MLBs playing today, not one of them breaks 250. Only 2 of them out of 22 are over 245.

For some reason, MLB is perceived to be a position filled w/ guys weighing in the 250-275 lb range, and that's simply not the case. The best MLB in the game today is Fred Warner, weighing in at 230. Roquan Smith, 236; Nick Bolten, 237; Patrick Queen, 230, and so on.

Ray Lewis was 6-1/240. Dick Butkus, 245.

I left my feedback of Clark’s game tape based on my own observations, if you have nothing specific to comment on that then don’t reply to me, I’m not going back and forth with a batty boy on a Sunday.
