Hopefully it's nothing. But boy, the Cowboys are being super cautious when it comes to these injuries. MRI's all around! :flagwave:

You might want to get back fast Ron.

Exactly what I was getting ready to post. Hopefully Leary is not thinking the same thing (if he even knows the story) and tries to come back too soon.

The Wally Pipp story is one of Garrett's favorites. I'm sure Leary has heard it a number of times. If he's not thinking about it, then he should be.

Glad it's not his knee, but a back is no joke. Hopefully, it's just muscular.

I hope that the back injury isn't anything serious. Leary is a damn good player, and not having him will hurt the team. Having a La'el Collins to plug in is great, but I would rather have a healthy Leary and then move Collins to RT.

Leary is far from done and I suspect he starts against the Giants
The future is Collins but Leary is not the kind of player who is going to let his job go without a fight, and that's what makes him a good playet

I am sure Leary is aware of Collins' talent and talk of him taking his job, as soon as he was signed. I just hope he doesn't get too caught up in losing his job (based on Wally Pipp) and tries to come back before he is completely ready, thus hurting the team in the long run. Pride can be a mutha....even to a detriment. However, I completely get what you are saying. No player should feel his job is completely safe.

I prefer if rests before rushing back. Contract year, Collins breathing down his neck, getting back in before he's ready would not be good.

Let that dream die.
