And more often than not, what I can't give my back is rest, lol.
LOL -- I hear ya but hey, if Leary is anything like you, they may be forced to strap him to his bed.

Took a couple days off for a headache, guy that replaced him happened to be named Lou Gehrig - the rest is history. Pipp always said those were 'the two most expensive aspirin' he's ever taken.
Or something like that.
Leary is lighting it up right now. The left side is easily the most ferocious run blocking duo in the NFL, due in large part to Leary.
Guys on local sports talk radio said some people inside the Cowboys organization think Leary is the 2nd best OL on the team.
If that is the case, why would we pursue a guy who is clearly here to replace him?

His contract expires this year. Unless teams are scared off by the knee issue, he should command enough in free agency to be the highest paid interior OL in the league. It wouldn't be possible to keep him along with Smith, Fred, Martin. We had an opportunity to find his replacement for cheap. I wish we would've brought someone in to replace Murray even though he was the league's leading rusher. Just because a guy is good and relatively young, doesn't mean he'll be easily retained. Signing Collins was a move for next year.
They think Martin could play OT if Collins can't.
Collins has been practicing at LG because he is most comfortable on the left.
Also, Leary will be an RFA after the season and then full free agent if tendered for 2016.
Leary also has the well documented knee issue that could cut his career short.
Jerry will always persue a free 1st round pick talent.
Wally Pipp.
