The Eagles are great. I don't see any way they lose a single game this year.

We're lucky to play in the same division as such a great organization. Getting to play them twice a year is one of the greatest privileges imaginable.

With great players like Derrick Burgess, Corey Simon, and Bobby Taylor, I just don't see many teams actually scoring on them this year.

There is no point! Just some interesting observations and matchups. You folks are too skeptical!

It's eagles vs. giants - don't you guys have like an eagles message board or something?

If nothing else I bet the Giants fans were smart enough to start one.

You forgot the Eagles were 6-10 in 2005 when the Giants were winning the division.

Winner: Giants

While the Eagles have a great defensive line, the Giants have a better pass rush with Umenyiora, Strahan, and Kiwaunka in the rotation.

Winner: Giants

Giants swept the Eagles in the last two games played. Until they can prove it won't happen again.

A loss is a loss is a loss. If you're not ready when the game starts, it's not the other teams fault.

I'm sorry, but while I think the Eagles could win this game. I just don't think it's going to happen. The Eagles and the rest of the *Experts* get a wakeup call.

Giants: 23
Eagles: 13

It will certainly reveal a little about the Eagles and what kind of year they can expect to have. You'd better hope they bring their A game.

We'll also see how well the Giants offense does in spite of Eli Manning, and whether their defense has anything other than "talent" or if they're all just paper lions.

Exactly.

He comes on to a Cowboys board during the week of the Cowboys-Commanders and wants to talk about the Giants-Eagles matchup.

That's the junior varsity game.

The warm-up band.

The prelims.

The consolation bracket.

They are the Robert Goulet to our Sinatra.

They are the Rocky V to our original Rocky.

They are the Millard Fillmore to our Abraham Lincoln.

.......... Sorry, but you don't matter to us.

You didn't just seriously compare the Colts to the Texans, emphasizing that home field advantage was more important than the opponent, did you?

Sorry, nyc.

Westbrook is nice. He is no Tiki, and it ain't close.
Hmm. I think a lot of Westbrook's problem is the system and his injury problems.

2004: 1,515 total yards in 13 games. (116 ypg)
2005: 1,231 total yards in 12 games. (102 ypg)

His biggest problem is he gets injured. Any player that averages over 100 yards per game is a great player.

I won't argue about Tiki though.

It's nota knock against Westbrook - but Tiki has been MVP-caliber the past two years - 2k yards in each. If he had the TDs, he'd be a lock.
