Your clueless as usual. I support Romo 100% and always have and think he's the only reason we've been at least .500 the last 3 years. The CBA doesn't expire until the 20-21 season. It's the TV deal that's going to be new in 2 years thus increasing the salary cap. Regardless of what happens in 2 years, LeMe will have the option to leave if he doesn't like the way things are going in Cleveland. You're just a troll trying to get reactions. That's all you do here.

your first worthwhile post is still to come.

while there may be a tinge of truth to this, most of those clothes are made in the same factories overseas side by side with much lesser brands. yes QA may be stronger for more expensive brands but largely it is the same base product.

this is also true of electronics. you are essentially paying for name brand and support.

generic is the way to go. You get the same product without paying for the name.

FWIW most billionaires dress fairly terribly cheap and last time I saw the data the most common car they drove was a cheap American economy car.
People with money often are super frugal by nature.
The middle class that is living for higher quality of life right now are the ones who value such things.

I tend to be cheap with stuff but do buy my kids high end sports related gear/shoes because it is part of the social experience and there are 'some' competitive benefits from higher end gear.

yeah it is the social pressure from their peers that push kids in to getting those unbelievably expensive shoes.

I mean $500 for a pair of shoes that you will scuff up and beat up in a few months?

I think he's an upgrade offensively over Ariza, but a downgrade defensively. He'll really fit in this offense, because unlike his whole career, he'll be asked to primarily shoot threes the way Ariza did, but unlike Ariza, Pierce can still create his own shot. The other positive, is they'll likely want to keep Pierce at 20mpg, and that gives alot of minutes for 2013 #3 overall pick, Otto Porter (who's looking pretty good in Summer League.)

That was my thinking. They definitely needed that veteran presence and offense scoring from a guy who can create shots on this own not just in transition. Defensively they lose a little, but Washington is pretty strong in that department. They should have beaten Indian and never lost that lead. With Kris Humphries, they got a strong front-court rotation, especially strength wise, with Gortat, Nene and now Humphries. And Kris always comes to play hard. They are going to wear down a lot of teams inside.

I think the off-season was good for them.

The only shoes I've seen at the $500 mark are dress shoes.

Sayin a $5 tee is ok, but cheap shoes that are not good for your feet is not being snobbery.

BTW, wearing good clothes and good shoes is personal preference for sure. If you've worn cheap crap and then decent stuff you realize there is a difference. Good quality clothes not only look better, but are far more comfortable. When you have clothes that fit, hang right, and feel good you are better able to function as as a person. You just feel better and function better. The same goes for shoes. And nothing says more about you as an individual than your shoes.

I think the reason I choose to spend the extra money for higher quality shoes and clothes is because of longevity, as well.

I paid quite a penny for a pair of cordovan dress shoes a few years ago and to this day they are my go-to pair for church on Sundays or other business-attire events.

I also have a pair of boots that I purchased 6 years ago for $300 and they are one of the most comfortable and durable pairs of boots that I own for winter time.

I'd rather buy something once, and have it a lifetime at a little more cost, than pay cheap prices for cheap-*** **** over and over and have it fall apart, shrink, or otherwise look ****** in a fraction of the time.

But to each his own, lol. Some folks like to pinch pennies...I'm not sure what for, but they do.

Edit: cheap shoes can damage your feet in ways you can't see, and actually shorten your life or cause further damage to lower extremities, but whatevs to those who want to buy these:

And we just completed a sign and trade for Dejuan Blair. Front court just got stronger.

Very well put my friend. Good clothes hang better. Fit better. Are more comfortable. And of course look better. When I was speaking on a regular basis I found that wearing a better quality suit was well worth every penny spent. A good suit that fits properly gives you instant credibility. You look more like you know what you're talking about. Because its far more comfortable your delivery is better. Everything about it is better and there is no negative to a good suit.

Good shoes as you say are the way to go. Better for your feet. Less aches and pains and fatigue. They look better and last longer. Once again, they give you credibility. Pay attention to where you step and you dont scuff them up. 10 years with a nice shine and they dont look like you got them at the Goodwill to go along with the JC Penny polyester suit.

Same is true for boxers. Cheap boxers arent as comfortable. Good quality cotton, or better yet, silk is the way to go.

Sun glasses as well. Cheap sun glasses arent good for your eyes. Good quality have better optics. Treat your eyes with respect and they will reward you.

Life is better eating a ribeye or porterhouse instead of ground round. Same is true with good clothes and good shoes.

Its not just clothes and shoes. Quality tools are worth the $$$$$. Good tools make the job easier and the result better. Want cut a straight line while painting? Much easier with a good quality brush.

There is a reason why cheap crap is cheap.

I'm not a sneakerhead so I can't weigh in here, but I do rock anything Nike. I probably wouldn't pay over 120 for shoes but I don't have a problem paying $25 for one shirt.
