Man you guys should have seen all the jaylon smith is awesome threads at the beginning of the year. Then during the first couple of games - just give jaylon time, he's leading the team in tackles threads.

I swear some people just see what they want to see.

I can understand someone believing he can eventually warrant the pick. I can even see someone seeing potential in him, but he is hurting us badly. Facts are facts. We need for him to get better but you don't force playing time if it's not warranted because the individual isn't more important than the team.

We seem to be forcing playing time with Jaylon to justify the pick. We are doing the same thing with Taco. Neither are justifiable in my opinion.

We are also doing the same thing for different reasons with Witten and Dez. Neither are worth their contracts. Witten is eating up meaningful snaps that should be going to someone else. He is a hall of famer but his records do not (or at least should not) mean more than the team winning.

Dez only catches about half the balls thrown to him and yet we force it in there game after game. It is maddening.

Garrett does SOME good things. But all of the above is piss poor coaching. No other thing we can put it off on.

Yep.......I dont know why people would think this kid was going to make an impact. Hadnt played football in nearly two years and isnt 100%. Im rooting for him, but this year he has looked terrible.
I thought there might be some struggles and occasionally getting fooled, but he looks lost out there.

I'm not 100% sure that Garrett has a say on who plays and who doesn't. Or if he does gave input, there are also other individuals such as the FO

Lee doesn't need replacing, he still plays at an All Pro level.

If anyone thinks you just go and replace Lee, lolwut pass the pipe

We just need another LB, Jaylon may be that guy next year but then we'll prob need one for Lee soonish. LB would be a target this off-season if it's BPA

2nd worst. Green is the worst.
I agree, in my 35+ years of watching the NFL I can't remember a time that a player sucked as bad as Green did. I never even heard of Claiborne till yesterday and then he becomes Reggie White on us. Green was so bad that even with help he still got beat. Claiborne will probably get 2 or 3 sacks the rest of the season.

Green's performance was simply remarkable in how bad it was. He was like a car accident, it was so bad that you couldn't look away because it was an astonishing spectacle.

As awful as Green was yesterday, he has played serviceably, even well, in the past. Jaylon Smith has only turned in horrific to poor performances thus far. I'm not saying Jaylon should be cut but he should not be on the field until he has recovered enough to not kill his team the second he steps on the field. It's more on the coaching staff/FO than anything else.
It appears the coaches are being forced to play Jaylon

I couldn’t agree with you more, there is no way the coaches can’t see what we the fans see, as it pertains to Jaylon’s on field play. They (the coaches) must feel pressure to play him to justify Jaylon’s draft position. Though not the exact same situation, it’s clear Dallas needs to get more out of the tight end position and become more athletic at the position. I don’t know if Witten’s replacement is currently on the team, because we don’t see the others enough. If the replacement isn’t on the team, they need to address it in the draft. As for Dez, Dallas seems content to force the ball to him at times, even though it may not be in the best interest of the team. The team should be what comes first, not any one player.

We're replacing him every 2 weeks this year.

I absolutely love Sean Lee as a player and really happy he's a Cowboys, but the true is, the team must have a plan B when he gets hurt. Truth hurts, but it is what it is. J. Smith is a project, not a starter. We can only hope that Smith somehow puts it together and becomes the player everyone hopes. They need to draft or pickup in FA a solid LB that can play

I dont think anyone is seeing what they want to see now are they?
I was on the J-train fully expecting that E- ticket ride,,, but I'm not gonna toss my ticket stub in the trash can just yet, #54 still has untapped rewarding potential! never discount or demean that, cuz' you never know when that
'switch' is gonna get
flipped:eek:
So,I'm gleaning from various posts that #50 'made of glass' has missed ,what?,,,,,,41 games?
It's obvious his ' made of glass down time' was well spent in the film room, just how the hell else do you explain his superior presence while on the field?,,, #54 could not ask for a better teammate to buddy up with,,, ya, we all knew the Defense needed time to gel going into THIS season but the solidification into roman concrete ain't gonna happen this YEARo_O

(Whhhaaaaaa:()

We can finally retire Torrin Tuckers name. The new low bar has been set by Green. Bravo, bravo Green. That took some effort to one up TT.
That dudes prolly on suicide watch after Sundays game , but by all means heap yer self righteous branding coals upon his head, he took that A**whipping all game and didn't feign injury to avoid it,,, pretty sure there is black-magic, witchery and that ol' blood sacrifice VOODOO being conducted amongst the league's hierarchy,,, GOODELL STYLE,,, truth be told,,,as they be an evil assortment afoot at the circle K when it comes to that crewo_O

Here is a suggested appendage to the legend of Sean Lee: "Blah, blah, leader, blah, HOF, blah blah, instinctive ...WHEN HE'S HEALTHY."

I think the FO thinks it has Lee's replacement on the team, Slide Hitch over to WLB, Smith starts at MLB and whoever starts SLB. All this hinges on that damn nerve of Smith's oh and him playing under control.
