LVE and Sean Lee are every down backs.

If Jaylon is getting a lot of playing time, something has gone horribly wrong.

If you guys want to blindly believe he'll be good one day because of pics on Twitter of him working out without a brace, suit yourselves.

Well he was on the bench 80% of snaps when Lee and Hitchens were available in the last few games of the year. If he couldn't beat out Anthony Hitchens, I sure hope he doesn't beat out our stud #1 pick.
Sturm debunked the whole notion that he was getting better as the season wore on, too. He simply wasn’t playing once Lee and Hitch came back, and when he was in he wasn’t good. Even Wilson was getting playing time over him.

He really needs to improve drastically year two.

Fans have a conflict between what they're seeing and what they actually want to see.

If Jaylon had been an UDFA and played like he did, they would be asking for his release.

He seemed to be having stamina issues last year. Hopefully he's getting past needing the brace like it's being reported.
He was playing pretty good at the end of the season in limited snaps IMO.

His issue is that he cannot change directions.

If you want to send him on a blitz or to blow up/plug a hole, he's ok.

In a passing league, he's a guy you simply cannot have on the field very often.

No he wasn’t. He was playing poorly all the way up to the end. His problem is changing direction and keeping up his speed with the play. As soon as a playaction or bootleg, he’s behind the play and slow to recover.

Sturm broke down his play in great detail in the Athletic.

Did Sturm by chance, touch upon maximum regeration and full range of motion over an extended period of time? How about motivation in a player to regain his own confidence levels...I haven't given up on the soldier.

I wouldn’t call it “blindly believing” but hey. Some of us will continue to think he’s going to get better.
