My father has worked for all three companies, and you can trust that the OTHER american company is... below par. way below.

I disagree. I've owned (2) Ranger pickups. One for nine years and the other for seven. Both I put close to 200,000 miles on. All that was required was to take care of the normal maintenance and they would run forever. I currently do not drive an American car. This was by choice of my wife, but I can't say I dislike the car.

i think he was talking as far as from where they are made, Gm's got cars that do 200000 also

the clk350 doesn't look bad how much did it cost you (if you dont mind answering or me asking)

I got the deal of the century on it. I leased it for $0 down, $0 security and $440 a month. It's a $56k car. It usually leases for about $850 a month. The problem I have is that I have to pay maintenance on it and those idiots charged me $398 to change the stupid oil and check the fluids! I have to take it to Mercedes Benz for service it as it's part of the lease agreement. (so it doesn't void the warranty is what they tell me)
