Let Dak walk

Yes you Dak Inquisition types love moving the goalpost. Anything to defend your messiah.
That literally made no sense. It's like you dismiss what people post and just take dumps on Prescott. Keep propping up Dalton, it only took him twice as many game to surpass Prescott in passing yardage.
I'm really not sure what we would do without Dalton.

Does your driveway reach all the way to the street you live on? What street you live on? I bet your yard is not mowed, huh?

First half rating: 106
Second half: 94

second quarter rating: 111
Third: 101

second qtr completion pct: 81
Third: 62 (Dalton had a similar pattern in the third. 56 I believe. What’s going on in the third?)

Cleveland game started 14-14
9-9 tie after one in Seattle. 15-16 with 6:05 left in second qtr vs Seattle. Seattle scored late second quarter TD to make 15-23.

pesky facts
So Dak doesn't have a history of starting slow or going cold during a stretch of the game? I'm pretty sure that I have watched a lot of games where those stretches have played a large part in why we fell significantly behind and often ended up losing. We all know that Dak generally finishes with a decent stat line. A large part of the fan base questions how his stat line equates to the teams success. My comment was to make the point that Andy didn't let the game get away from them but rather put up a stat line that directly correlated to the win.

No, the Cowboys had a losing record. Dak and the offense scored 32 ppg,, but the defense gave up 36 ppg. That was the culprit.
Agree , but dalton is winning with a bad defense ( probably worse than last year ) and a worse OL . The difference in the price tag is massive for what we may or may not get . Don’t forget Dak may not be as good after the injury .

Tua is the next Tim Tebow ... only not as good as Tebow

Tua is the most overrated prospect of the modern era. Nothing about him says nfl success. Shame a guy like D. Watson had to wait til the 12th pick to be selected but a no nfl level ability having QB, like Tua, willl be selected in the top 5. Scouts and personnel people are sheep. Tua has no nfl talent. None

Tua is Doug Flutie.. just not as good

Those guys got on the field ... Tua will never see the field.. that is how unskilled Tua will be at the nfl level

Tua vs nfl defenses will be like Nba Finals Jordan vs high schoolers

Don’t doubt my QB expertise

And I’m still not sold on Herbert. For those who ask

Dak best QB in league

But that defense is suddenly getting a boatload of turnovers and is giving up a lot fewer points than before Dak got hurt. The defense allowed 36 points per game when Dak was playing, and since Dalton started winning the defense is giving up 26.6 ppg. The defense generated 3 turnovers when Dak was playing, and has generated 18 turnovers since.

Let Dak walk... to the Saints, Steelers, Rams

You guys are so clueless!

so, no attempt to trade, just let him go and be left without a QB? Or is Dalton suddenly a star after one strong game?

He's a free agent as soon as the season ends, or whenever free agency starts. Trade deadline has passed. Cowboys can't trade him...

After the season they can tag him and trade him, or work out a contract and trade him. Simply letting him walk is not the only option if they were to choose to move on from him.

Which I don't think they plan to do anyway. Besides, what is your option for another QB? You don't just dump a guy like that without a plan.

Do you know the correlation between passing yards in a game and winning a game?

You might want to go back and read the entire conversation foe content. I didn't mention wins/losses. That wasn't remotely the point.

Get what you can get for him, just let him free to go elsewhere
