Let me explain one more time why kicking that FG to go up 19-13 was not a good move

You don't trust this defense to hold a six point lead down the stretch so your solution is to cut that lead in half and ask them to hold that......
Sounds legit

It is better to punt than make a FG............

Let me explain that if you punt and the Giants go score the TD then you need a TD to win.

FG's set you up to lose, TD help you win. You punt and get another stop then maybe we score and go up 23-13

Again, FG's are ok in the first 3 qtrs but not in the last one

Yeah. Why put points on the board with 10 minutes left? LOL!!! Should have pinned them back in the first quarter too on the 56 yarder. LOL!!! Please stop....PLEASE

Hey troll type of poster, when you score a FG you pin them deep in their zone......25 yd line at worst

Gee, score TDs? Why didn't they think of that? That's a brilliant strategy. You should have started with that instead of that really freaking stupid strategy of punting instead of FGs.

If you punt inside the 50, there is a high probability that the ball goes into the end zone for a touchback, and the giants start at the 20 yard line. If you kick a fg with Dan Bailey, there is a high probability you will get 3 points. Then on the kickoff, there is a high probability of a touchback, and the giants start at the 25 yard line. 3 points and giants at 25 yd line > 0 points and giants at 20 yd line. 6 point 4th qtr lead > 3 point 4th qtr lead. Seems pretty simple.

No Punt and force the Giants offense to drive 90 or more yds for a FG or TD.

But...by kicking the FG, you force them to drive to the end zone -- that extra yardage negates any advantage you're suggesting we would have gotten by pinning them. If we pinned them inside their 10, they would need to drive approximately 60 yards or so to have a chance at a FG. By kicking the FG, we forced them to drive even further.

FWIW, Coach Kevin Kelley wouldn't have tried kicking the field goal also.

OTOH, he wouldn't have punted either.

On second thought, disregard this post.

But the decision is why we lost the game by..........TAKING WHAT WE CAN GET

Being up by six means they HAVE to score a TD to win the game, otherwise they need a field goal to tie at minimum and oh by the way if they scored a TD than Dallas is behind by four and probably have zero chance of winning the game.
