KJJ, it’s not just the fans. Almost every major sports media is reflecting the same sentiment

the fans didn’t create the pessimism…..the Team did by its performance and when it’s franchise Qb has his worse game of his career and still loses despite playing the entire game, it’s understandable.

the good news is that all this criticisism has ZERO influence on the players or the outcome of the game

The pessimism is a result of the past 27+ years. I don’t blame anyone for being discouraged. Criticism and negativity can definitely influence players and their performance. Which is why I think the Cowboys have bounced back after every loss this season. The team took a lot of heat after blowing a lead to Green Bay and followed it up with a blowout over Minnesota. However, it’s very difficult to stagger into the playoffs and get back on track. You can’t just flip a switch once the playoffs arrive and start playing good football.

We all have one, this is a new year. I'll let it play out before I give my opinions. I know many won't agree, but the negativity is getting really old!

When a team runs out a less than mediocre QB who is insanely over hyped and overpaid people have breaking points and with WENTZ 2.0, it's getting dam hard to get up for Cowboy games. Wentz 2.0 plays down to the lousy competition on a weekly basis and when games actually mean something WENTZ 2.0 comes all undone because he can't handle the pressure. I watched some game film on Wentz 2.0 and it was sickening to watch as he would bail out of the pocket instead of standing tall and releasing the pass to an open receiver. This happened numerous times when all WENTZ 2.0 had to do was lay the pass out to a spot where the receiver was heading, but no WENTZ 2.0 would tuck and run himself into a sack. This is why the GOAT is the GOAT, he understands that you don't need a bullet arm to play and when in the game, all you have to do is to understand where your receiver is going to make his break and throw the ball to that spot. Something WENTZ 2.0 doesn't have a clue on how to do...........

But the past is really magnificent. 20 straight winning seasons, 13 championship appearances, 8 Super Bowl and 5 Rings.

It still warms my heart. The greatest 35 years of my Cowboys life.

Sometimes I think fans confuse critical thinking with being miserable.

Why shouldn’t we watch and critique a game or team like we would anything ?

If you just want to be a cheerleader. That’s hunky dory with me. I’m certainly not going to boo the girls or guys with Pom Poms. And they shouldn’t be booing the analyst and critics in the booth either.

There’s a place for everyone. All types of fans. Perhaps we wouldn’t invite everyone into our home to watch a game.

I’ve certainly sat next to some fellow fans I’d just as soon throw out but as long as they follow the rules or laws they are entitled to conduct their fandom however they choose.
