You may like throwing your season away on a low-percentage 4th down pass, vs, the open Beasley for the first, but Super Bowl QBs don't.

Pass was on target. Dez dove and bobbled it. NY over ruled the call on the field. Romo was not the problem in that game. Of course, I am not so much of a Romo homer that I won't admit that there were games when he was the problem, but this wasn't one of them.

His decision cost the team. He can have the perfect game, make one dumb decision, season lost. That's what happened.

Dak throwing into the middle of the field, right into safety help and basically double coverage and Dez not turning on sonic speed and breaking the sound barrier and making a play on that is apparently Dez's fault though..

No you don't, because as Romo explained on that play they had INSIDE leverage and though he wanted to go to
Cole, based on the pre-snap read, the defender and Cole would have bang-banged each other and Cole would have needs two extra steps to avoid the defender to catch the slant.

Romo made the right play..

The right play in Romo's and your brain is the reason we've not seen a Super Bowl in 2 decades.

IF Linehan is so good, he should be able to fix this and find a way for Dak to get rid of the ball quickly to SOMEBoDY. He is holding ball to long and getting pressure as a result.

He tried by running those Mickey Mouse rollouts. Without Lucky we didn't have the Mickey Mouse jet sweep.

Dak failed on the simple stuff too.

Because GB on a 4th and 2 with an empty backfield screams they have no clue to a slant, despite showing inside leverage..

How long would Dak wait with GB coming like that... 3 seconds?

Also, it's pretty sad that you can shut down this offense by taking Witten and Beasley out of it. Huge indictment on Dez.

Pass to Beasley, 1st down.

Pass to Beasley, 1st down.

Pass to Beasley, inside leverage, collision or INT on empty backfield and no threat of run..

Not as easy as you think.. but that explains why you think Dak is better..

I think it might say more about the current limitations at QB. Dak is basically a see short and open and throw it for the most part. His accuracy is questionable in the intermediate and long areas of the field, which limits the ability of the WR other then Beasley and Witten to do much because those two take most of the short routes.

Dak is 11-2 as a rookie. Romo is 0-10 as a QB trying to win Super Bowls.
