lets be real :)

thread-starter "saint reginald" raises a valid point. the onus is on the cowboys to hold serve at texas stadium. dallas is easily one of the leagues' healthiest teams while the saints will visit them light a few starters.

his fellow saints fan, "geaux", earns chuckles for his prediction that the saints will "dominate". hey bud, less time on bourbon street - more time actually following the NFL.

Prediction: dallas - 30, NO - 14. romo and the defense will put on a sheaux.

I'm just saying that the Saints NFC resume is better than the Cowboys right now. I'll give props to Dallas if they can win a game in which they are 6.5 point favorites.

so a team that has the same record as your team, is the most balanced team in the league, and is on a 4 game winning streak, and having won 5 of 6 games, gets no props from you? pathetic

I forgot how sterling you've been these past few weeks, didn't you guys drop 3 straight not that long ago? and got destroyed by the only quality teams you've faced this year?

After reviewing the saints more or less final injury reports I have come to a conclusion I am not particularly happy with.

This game will be more a referendum on whether the cowboys are for real than the saints. If the saints lose away in dallas, missing their 2 best defensive players, and 2 best receivers I dont think it really has much bearing on how we will fare in the post-season (aside from the seeding.)
The cowboys on the otherhand...if they lose to the saints at home completely healthy with the saints so shorthanded on both sides of the ball wouldnt thay say something about how they might fare against other top teams in the playoffs?

This is not a troll post and ive posted the same thing in the saints forums (and was flamed there for not predicting a saints W)

Injuries are part of the game.
Others players should step up.

I feel like we need to win more than the Saints. It'll be a big win for us, but a HUGE win for the Saints. I'm concerned about the brainfarts that we have on defense because the saints will make us pay. If we play solid but not spectacular D, we win by 10. If we play great D, it'll be a blow out, and if our D plays like last week, we are looking at 3 points or less.
