I watched Deion in centerfield at Yankee stadium years ago. I actually like him then.
I may get to go to Yankee Stadium in April.

I hope, I hope.

I am only getting warmed up. If terrells signs, I will bash him, jones and Parcells at every turn. If it bothers you, ban me. I no longer care.

I am the Anti terrell fan. Soon to be the Anti-cowboys cowboy fan.

and what a joke that is. either your a cowboys fan or you are not. If your going to turn on the team over ONE player they you were never a fan to begin with. TO is going to help this team rather you hate the guy or not. Its just pathetic that any so called cowboys fan would go "anti cowboys" over one free agent they dont like.

even i'll agree it's a tad extreme, but hey - that's where TO pushes people to. you gotta take the bad with the good.

Well if you do, give us here in the NE notice, I'll buy you a $6 coke.

Yankee stadium, where the beer is warmer than the hot dogs.

I went to 13 straight home openers at Yankee stadium. Last one was 1995. Donnie baseball years.

I stopped in 1996, they went on to win 4 World Series in a row. Haven't been to a home opener since.

No the joke is people like you saying we should all agree with everything that is done. Is every draft pick we have taken acceptable to you? is every move the team made acceptable to you? The vast majority around here have one bone to pick on some issue but because you feel a certain way the rest of us should feel the same way? No I don't want TO and I'm not going to be a hypocrite about it.

I agree.

If you're a cowboy fan like I'm a Commander fan...you've spent money on jerseys, hats, sweatshirts, tshirts and other stuff...you spend every sunday planted in front of your tv. it doesn't matter if a nuclear holocaust is going on, nothing will make you move from that tv. you pay steep prices to get to games, steep prices for food and you don't mind because you're there, you're watching the team that you adored since you were a kid and you're having the time of your life.

Every day during the week you look forward to Sunday to put on your teams colors and devour the newspaper looking for the smallest tidbits on news about the team. You act like when someone goes down with an injury like its a family member and get on your teams messageboard and rant and rave, argue, agree and analyze every aspect of the game to death. If you're not at the game, you've got your laptop or your PC nearby the TV and your fingers are cramped because you're typing so fast in the game thread.

So you're really going to let TO ruin all this for you? All the time, effort, energy and money you've invested into being a Cowboy fan?

I hesitate to call anyone a "fake fan" but seriously....the way some of the fans here are acting is really sad.

Wow, I step away for an hour and six pages later, whoa!

I can't believe some of the stuff here.

...you shouldn't think like this.

...you should think like this.

...you should like this player.

...you shouldn't like this player.

...you aren't a "real" fan if...

...you are a "real" fan if...

I hate what TO did at the Star. Is he good, no doubt. Will he help. No doubt. Will he hurt? A lot of doubt!

When/if he scores his first TD, I'll cheer the TEAM.

I have always loved the Cowboys, (since '71) and I'm only 39 y.o.!

For those who have no worries about TO in the Silver and Blue, I hope y'all are right!

People seem to be forgetting soemthing her. TO is an arsehole off the field, yes. However, NO ONE in this league plays harder or with with more desire once they step onto the field than TO. He is a workaholic. This is not Randy Moss we're talking about who takes plays off, TO blocks downfield as good as any WR in football, he almost never goes down from the first hit, and he REALLY wants to win.

I dont oike the guy anymore than you guys do, but if we are going to get him, realize at the very leadt, we are getting a great FOOTBALL PLAYER.

I am coping just fine. Apparently some others like this Ashwynn person aren't.

I just have a low tolerance for whining and contant threats.

If you hate Owens, hate Jerry Jones and wish they break their legs or even die, then I suggest you might be wasting not only your own but everyone else's time by being on a Dallas Cowboy message board.

Exactly...Man I can't believe some of the Hysteria that's going on in this place.

Hahaha, my thoughts exactly.

I'd rather have Irvin than TO, thats for damn sure. Irvin may have had off the field issues, but it never affected his play and never held him back from being a great teammate. Irvin never destroyed two teams, either.

Irvin had Jerry Jones and didn't have to play for the Eagles or the 49ers. Imagine for just one second Irvin's personality on either one of those teams and ask yourself if you think his career plays out the same way?

Irvin was suspended a couple of times, his off the field issues DID hurt this team. Irvin and TO are virtually the same monster, just having come out of two very different situations.

Can Dallas and Jerry do for TO what they did for Irvin. I think that is an astounding YES, but I guess only time will tell...

Actually when you comb out all the BS, TO, wins. The everlasting legal issues are just not there like they were throughout the majority of Irvin's professional career. If it hadn't been for Jerry, Michael would have self-imploded before anyone ever really knew how great he could be.

I see where you're coming from and agree to a certain extent.

However the fact remains that you guys won 3 superbowls with Irvin being a huge part of them. IMO, he's rememberd as winner with some off the field issues.

TO doesn't have any rings and has ruined two teams. If he shut up and didn't disrupt anything in Philly, that'd still be a team to be reckoned with.
