Let's face it...w/ Wade at the helm this team is doomed

If I see another thread started with the term "Let's face it", I'm going to scream.

Please don't tempt them. You will end up screaming for [strike]hours[/strike] [strike]days[/strike] [strike]weeks[/strike] [strike]months[/strike] years. Trust me. Just ask any moderator. : We can't place anyone on ignore.

The main reason Wade was brought here was because of his defensive 'expertise' - especially with the 3-4. And Jerry wanted someone with NFL HC experience.

Well, Wade had NFL HC experience, but in all his years, he had mostly been mediocre and had never won a playoff game. So far, nothing has changed.

But at least he's a great defensive coach, right? Well this is his 3rd year here and he fully took the defense over after Brian Stewart was let go, and here are our current defensive rankings:

28 Kansas City Chiefs
29 Jacksonville Jaguars
30 Atlanta Falcons
31 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I am one of the people who actually likes Wade. I think that the offense (Jason Garrett) is the #1 issue with the team right now. The defense is keeping us in games, the offense isn't holding up their end of the bargain.

I think a fair number of fans like Wade as a DC, but not so many like him as HC. What a lot of people are saying (I think) is that we need a HC who has control of the TEAM, and not just the defense. The reality of it is, as someone else already stated, that we have an Offensive HC and a Defensive HC, but no team HC. How many teams can you think of where the players take on the personna of their HC (Mike Singletary, Bill Cowher, and BP come immediately to mind)? Our team has taken on the personna of our "HC by committee", and it is a soft personna. We are missing that positive influence on our team, IMHO.
