Need a sample size of more than 1 playoff loss in his rookie season.
Of course. That wasn't the point though.

Perception for many is reality. I also don't expect Dak to have the dame misfortune as Romo. He's nationally loved and he didn't get a used beaten down Honda to drive as a rookie. He was given a brand new Tesla. Lucky kid.

As much as I hate Stephen A. Smith, He is right about two things; "We are an accident waiting to happen" and "What can go wrong will go wrong". The Cleveland Browns have cornered the market on heartbreaking regular season losses but we seem to be their equivalent in the playoffs. What other team has suffered so many heartbreaking losses in the post-season? We have now lost 8 of our last 10 playoffs games and most were in heart-wrenching fashion. We have the Tony Romo bobbled snap, The Crayton drop, The Dez non-catch and now the 3rd and 20. If you go back further we have "The Catch", the 0-21 five minute start against the Niners in 1994, The Jackie Smith drop in Super Bowl XIII and I could go on and on.

What makes it so frustrating is that in so many of the games we were the superior team only to find a new way to lose. What is going on here and how can we get back to the point where things start to go our way? There is no way we can go into our next playoff game without thinking we are snake-bit. Now Dak is 0-1 in the playoffs and with one more loss, he will be labeled as a choker too. I am so ready for the post-season black cat to leave the room.
you can go back even to the 60's

Horrible analogy.

Having said that, if they get to the playoffs and get bounced early again next year, exiting the playoffs early 3 out of 4 years, -- then they become something akin to an early version of the Marvin Lewis Bengals.

For me, anything less than at least a NFC Championship game appearance will be a big disappointment.

I still think the three point margin of this game will be the closest game Green Bay has in the postseason. We lost because Rodgers played out of his mind, no other reason.

Except for the part where we're one of the winningest teams in post season history.

Yes sir.

BTW- EVERY team that doesn't win the Super Bowl is an accident waiting to happen and none more so than the Giants this post season.

SAS just baits people with that line and for some stupid reason they buy it.

I could say we're not. The Browns suck every year, the Cowboys DONT make the playoffs every year.

That analogy doesn't really fit.

Yes. Painful memories all. Was there for every single moment u rattled off and then some. I suppose the greatness in that list is we were that position to begin with while other teams just sit back and have to envy our constant string of playoff heartbreak. Lol.

I used to say when my family had season tickets to the Cowboys in the early 80s that they were just good enough to break your heart. All great franchises go through it. It is gut wrenchingly unpleasant in the moment no doubt. But we've been to the top of the mountain top and it's a monumental disappointment when we don't get there again when the opportunity is there. We are never satisfied with a "good season"...indeed I rue the day when I am contented by a 10-6 season ended by some gritty playoff loss as a 6th seed.

Just hoping now that as I have likely hit he back nine of life I can see this team reach the mountain top a few more times before I turn in my cart. I never had more urgency than i now have as a fan for us to take advantage of our window. Everyone talks about the future but we've all painfully learned there are no guarantees.

This team is at a cross roads with one a path to greatness and the other to heartbreak. I pray we pick the right one.

Personally, I take one game at a time. Last sunday, we were beaten by a good team, no one wins 7 in a row for free, and by the best QB in the game right now. Even with that, we've lost by 3 points, in the last second of the match. So, that's that.

If you want to put more into it, you can.

We'll come stronger next year.

When SAS is rooting for 31 teams vs the cowboys, then obviously he's going to be right more often than not. If this is a disaster for us, why is it not a disaster for KC? Because no one's gives a flying poop about KC

The last 3 times the Peckers were in the playoffs, they lost --

in Ot of Division last year to Arizona, 26-20.
in OT of NFCC of 2014 to Seattle, 28-22.
in WC of 2013 to SF, 23-20.

Then there's that WC game they lost in OT in 2009 season to AZ, 51-45.
And the previous year's NFCC in OT to the Gnats, 23-20.

They may be getting enough tough losses to qualify for (north) America's Team.
