Shut up already, and take a joke when it's a joke. Hell I Know who Crazy Ray is. I've been a Boys fan for 35 years. My Uncle and Charlie Waters were roommates at Clemson. And I've been a Boys fan ever since. You on the other hand are losing your credibility on this board everytime you post.

Based on last season, this is the worst set of WR's this team as fielded in over 40 years. Crayton 39 catches, 4TD. Williams 36 catches, 2TD. Austin 13 catches 3TD. Hurd and whomever's left, 0 catches, 0TD.

Give me Mike Renfro (or even Ray Alexander) and Kelvin Martin any day.

We're really leaning on Witten's 81 catches, 4TD; Bennett's 20 catches, 4TD; Barber's 52 catches, 2TD, Choice's 21 catches, and hoping Felix Jones can play more than a few games this year (doubt he remains healthy for the whole season, though).
Are you nuts? Ray Alexander was horrible, he only put up decent numbers that year because there wasn't anyone else. Jimmy shipped him out as soon as he could.

is sunk. And that is if Roy is even who we think he is. Miles Austin is the next great Wr and he only has 18 catches in 3 years. Hell Brandon Marshall was a 4th rd pick the same year as Austin and he had 18 catches in 1 game last year.

Some of you will say yea but he hasn't been givin the chance. He's getting a chance everyday in practice to beat out a 7th rd pick that was a QB in college and made it to where the coaches couldn't keep him off the field.

At some point Miles' potential has to turn into production. This is year 4.

Are we gonna put all our eggs into the "potential" basket of Miles, Hurd and Stanback?

I for 1 would like to see a vet WR brought in. If these guys can't beat him out then so be it.

What if Roy and Miles both get dinged and miss some time. You want to see Crayton and Hurd at 1 and 2?

I think Miles has alot of potetial but bringing in a vet for some insurance wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

How is that the steelers lost there best wr and he only made 1 play in the SN in Hines Ward and they did just fine

I see this type of logic all the time all over these types of boards.

You cannot compare one team to another and say because they did A then my team can do A.

The reveal on this to be the truth is two teams play the same opponent. Both teams have the same circumstance with injury or no injury.

One team wins and the other loses.

I'm sorry Kangaroo, but the logic that all things are equal so all teams should do the same means there would be 32 Super Bowl champs every year.

you guys really don't get it, no one is saying anything is great.

But it's not all over, which is what your ilk keep trying to say.

Half the guys you all whine about can't be replaced with anything better, that's the whole point.

recent track record? lmao, why cause I don't agree with you I must be wrong?

you guys are a trip.

Then you don't get it. Because no one has said anything about it being all over.

I have maintained that we COULD be in trouble if we have an injury or one of the Kiddie Korp fails. Especially Austin.

I have stated the history of the players we are relying on suggest failure is not out of the question.

You read this and then leap to a conclusion that I am saying we are doomed.

Every time you get in your car and drive you have a probability of being killed.

Not once have I said the sky is falling. I have said there is a potential for it to fall.

Which makes your insult even more ridiculous since you read what I have said and then assigned your own value to it.

End of discussion for me.

Then again the logic the other way is just as flawed because yes some teams tank and some do not.

The Steelers ran the ball and played defense we have a trio of backs if the defense improves upon last years then you run th ball. Baltimore did the same thin last year with a WR core less than ours and a rookie qb.

That is the million dollar question that no one on this board can answer until the season starts.

Miles could fail and another young WR can blow up on a scene like Colston did for the Saints. We have no freakin clue until they strap the pads on and play.

I would agree it is a concern going into camp but I am buy no means going to think the season is over because someone gets injured or does not step up. There where too many teams that over came injuries to there better players and still won because they played good hard nose football and played disciplined football.
