now that I think about it....if Dallas somehow has a losing season its possible Wade goes down as one of the worst HC in Cowboys history as many have suggested he inherited the most talented team outside of Switzer. But Switzer did end up winning a superbowl.

I am very optimistic about this season BUT they better get off on the right foot against TAMPA. If you give this team too many chances (And we will commit penalties for sure) the BUCS could be very tough at home this weekend. BL is experienced, and their receivers are good although a little banged up.

It helps thier OC just got fired I think. I think Dallas will shut down their rushng attack but I am a little worried about the pass. Bryant is gonna bring it for cutting him. I hope TNew plays like a pro-bowler. Sensabaugh is gonna have to be good to stop K2 and Barbie who all of you hate is gonna be covering K2 some also so be ready.

On the flip side I think Romo is gonna pick aprt their zone D. Barber is Over TH and their D is really young. Maybe 2 young to excel against an experienced O like Dallas.

I have 2 predictions. If we rattle BL with a pass rush early and shut down run game out of the gate - 27-17 Dallas

If Bucs run a little and BL avoids rush OK, our penalties will hurt us - I would still take DAL, maybe b/c of the blue galsses, but in a very close one

No way we lose to tampa bay.

'Boys are so skilled and so talented that they will overmatch the Bucs and destroy them IN SPITE OF OUR COACH BEING WADE.

But when it comes to the Eagles and Giants, all bets are off. We have the best first-team set of players in the NFC but the inspiration and leadership left on the Wade train long ago.

Roy didnt cost 2.

Our team is aggressive.

There has been success in 3-4 not big guy in middle.

Special teams already improved with Bueler kickoffs. Too early to judge draft as whole yet.

Not ready to crown the NFL young coach experiment a success. Everyones jumping on this bandwagon now that Tomlin won a superbowl, but you must know that steelers have had consistency on their defense for very long. Young coach means learning time, and by the looks of your nitpicking you have no patience for growing pains. Don't see why a new coach is going to help the cowboys in your eyes.

I feel really good about this team because of our skill positions.

Especially Moxie, Barber, FJones, and Witten!

I wouldn't think a mid season move would happen,but with Jerry you never know.I would be inclined to think that last years debacle is still simmering.You couple that with a few blow out losses early in the year and who knows what could happen.Ole' Jerry might turn out to be a sleeping giant,kinda like a volcano(Krakatoa or Mt. St. Helens come to mind).

This team is talented but.....hate to tell some here....but there are several teams just as talented.

Im excited.......I hope Dallas wins the SB.....I think they can.....things have to go right....luck has to be on our side......and the injury bug has to stay away from us.

I still see 7-9 to 9-7. Best case, wildcard team - one and done. But more than likely we'll just miss out on the playoffs again.

Wade will get canned like he should've this past year.

Jerry will then bring in a recycled aging coach like Holmgren or Shannahan. Could be worse, but still will only be a short term stop gap.

Jerry has really done a number on this team the last dozen or so years. We had a slight reprieve with an aging Parcells getting us back in the playoff hunt, but now we're just another middling team.

And the beat goes on.

His star was rising until Delhomme shot it down with 3 INT's in the playoff's.

Former pro bowl OL that has spent the last 2 seasons as the Panthers OC. A Russ Grim type, no nonsense, the game is won in the trenches, you run till your opponent cant stand then throw type of coach.

Only 41 years old. Has served under Belichick, Pete Carroll and John Fox.

Just an old school, get dirty and get it done type of guy Dallas needs

This is the whole reverse psychology vibe thing right?

I understand being afraid of high expectations after the last couple of seasons. But IMO the team wouldn't be doing itself any favors shying away from high expectations. It's good not being overconfident but if the team's ability to function under the pressures of December and January is at issue, the constant knowledge of high expectations can only help prepare it for the crucial times.
