Lets just put this to rest!!! Film on Romo

I love the way Romo is playing...

but I also think that the weapons we have on offense are truly helping this kid out alot... the way defenses have to double either T.O. or T.G. plus throw in the factors of screen plays, Crayton, our T.E.'s etc...

Our offense has got to be tough to gameplan against and the fact that Romo throws passes with an accurate zip to them makes things worse for defenses...

Ron Jaworski was talking on ESPN before the Colts game and was talking about how he watched the coaches' film and that Romo just doesn't make mistakes out there in his reads... (big compliment from a Philly homer)
Bledsoe had the same weapons and couldn't get ur done

That's because Bledsoe is washed up and I'm not sure he was ever very good at reading defenses. He always locked on to receivers. I think the point about how many weapons Romo has is a good one. The way he spreads the ball around and I assume goes through his progressions is very impressive.

In the last 3 games Romo is 29/31 in the second half. Are you kidding me? They are not figuring Romo out, he is figuring them out.

What the NFL should worry about is once Romo has enough film on them what will happen?

Very well put. He is the one that has made the adjustments not the defenses making the adjustments. No matter what defensive scheme you come up with there will always be a soft spot and 7 out of 10 times Romo is going to exploit it. Then 2 out of 10 times he doesnt is because the defense makes an unbelievable play or the reciever drops it. 1 out of 10 times he might force or miss the spot. So that one chance out of 10 if you dont intercept it, it will be a while before you see another one.

I wish I had your abilty Champ to put it so eloquently in as few words as possible but alas as much as I try I end up typing a Sermon from 1 Cowboys 3:10.

This notion of "once people have tape and figure out Romo, he's done" is completely ridiculous. Defenses had years of tape on Aikman, but still could not stop him. What slowed Aikman down was the slow depletion of talent around him.

I hate to be the devil's advocate, and it's barely related to the topic of this thread, but.............Moss wants out of Oakland pronto. Coulod you imagine this team with Romo at the healm Moss and Owens on the outside and Glenn in the slot. Not to mention Jones, Barber, Whitten, Fasano, and Crayton (in a 4wide set with Moss, Owens, and Glenn). Unstoppable. Absolutley untsoppable!

However, Snyder will sign Moss this off-season to a record 4 year $200 million contract and Randy's career will officially be over. But it's nice to dream.

You forgot they will also throw in all their 08 and 09 (since they have no 07) draft picks for him. :D

I was walking my dog the other day we came upon a large pond and there in the middle of it walking on water was none other than our own antonio romo...true story

Injuries don't kill defenses. Tony Romo kills defenses.
There is no theory of defensive coordination. Just a list of defensive coordinators Tony Romo allows to live.
Tony Romo does not sleep. He waits.....for the next defensive victim
The chief export of Tony Romo is Touchdowns.
Tony Romo has two speeds. Walk, and throw touchdowns.
The leading causes of losses in the NFL are: 1. not scoring more points than the other team 2. Tony Romo 3. injuries
Tony Romo drives a golf cart covered in the carcasses of Tampa defensive players.
When Greg Williams goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Tony Romo

Chuck Norris is a flaming Romosexual.

Double ditto. I love that sceen. Awesome gun fight. I love the scared sh**less look on Remo when he sees who he's actually fighting.

I think D-coordiantors have that look when viewing the ROMO film.:D

What I really like about Romo (besides his apparent talent) is that he puts so much focus on preparation. He's stated he's a football guy "24/7" and just loves to play the game. If you're prepared, confident, and have the talent, all things being even, nothing can really stop you.
