Ayers, Thornton, hayward would be great.
I would've gone for it .
Rather have Chris long probably has a higher ceiling if healthy. But at this point I guess one of the two is the best we are going to do this free agency period. Bosa looking better each hour.

None of those DB's excite me.
As they shouldn't. These are guys whose original teams did not want them for whatever reason.
It's not that simple.
Smith is a pretty decent CB who is caught in a log jam and contract situation in KC. With Peters there, they don't need to have Smith. Plus they don't want a lot a ton of money to the secondary now that they have to pay Berry. Smith is more a salary issue than KC just chucking a crap player aside.
We know that ended up the last time they didn't want to pay a certain corner we picked up in 2012....
These guys are all average at best.
Average is Carr. Hayward is better than Carr.
We can all agree these are the critical positions to address in free agency. These are the remaining viable candidates that I see(in no particular order). Basically...how do you feel about it? Personally, I'm pretty optimistic. No doubt we need to get busy fairly soon, but I see the opportunity to add several good players still in their primes.
